radin2son Posted April 21, 2016 The manual reccomends using tow mode to control downhill speed. Believe me, it works and is needed to prevent shimmying when braking on long, steep downhills. What about uphill? I've not felt a need on the highway, but on dirt/gravel roads where you need to use 1st or 2nd gears. Will this give you a lower ratio, something closer to crawl? With the V8 I've always felt I have enough power, but what about sections of very rough or sandy roads where you slowly pick you way through.
