Has anybody tried any after market heated seat kits?

I asked the same last winter - no replies. Hopefully, someone will have tried them and will respond. In the interim, I use an electric heating pad plugged into the 120V outlet in the center console.

I had a set of These installed last year. The only thing is that the passenger seat buckle up light comes on the dash when nobody is in the seat. No big deal to me as there is no noise. It's basically pads that go under the fabric of the seat and the backrest and gets wired to a high/low/off switch. I dont know the brand sorry, but I will say it definitely helps in the New England winters and was a welcome addition to my work vehicle.

I installed THIS SET of heaters in our 2002 Honda Odyssey this past winter. They worked really well and can be trimmed for obstacles pretty easily because of the way the carbon filaments are arranged.

The installation was not real difficult. It probably took me 12+ hours in total. I'm not real fast, but I'm thorough. B)

The trickiest part was the occupancy sensor in the passenger seat. My guess is that may be why Jean has the light on the dash he mentioned. I found conflicting information online regarding whether the heating pad could be placed over the sensor film. In the end I cut that pad short to avoid issues with the sensor.

The set I have was made by Champion Seat Systems. I called them with a question during installation on New Year's Eve afternoon and they were super helpful. I was impressed.
