  1. I had a set of These installed last year. The only thing is that the passenger seat buckle up light comes on the dash when nobody is in the seat. No big deal to me as there is no noise. It's basically pads that go under the fabric of the seat and the backrest and gets wired to a high/low/off switch. I dont know the brand sorry, but I will say it definitely helps in the New England winters and was a welcome addition to my work vehicle.
  2. I have a 2012 NV2500 and I ordered an air filter from reading this thread, and I wasnt expecting to find one installed, but I actually had a factory filter installed in mine and it was pretty clean, but I swapped it out anyway as this one was a better one.

I'm going to do this as soon as its warm out and I already have a roll of generic Dynamat waiting, but why are there gaps between the pieces stuck up there? Any specific reason, or were you limited with the size of the pieces you had or something else?
  4. I know what you're saying. That's why I usually end up not using bluetooth and take my chances with getting a ticket. I think at this point you have to either deal with it, or upgrade. I've been dealing since 2012 and I'm almost ready to take the plunge. Just gotta find the right deck for me.
  5. Poor design. I have so many complaints about the nav. Can't change a route while in motion, but able to search your iPhone's music collection safely? Counter-intuitive and ludacris. There is a small window (top right) that shows next turn direction while on a call, but its not helpful. Also, there are newer maps than 2013 out there. I don't use the voice commands, so I can't confirm any of that garbage. Had I known the issues I have with this, I may not have gotten the tech package and just the basics and then upgraded to a deck that can integrate with the steering wheel/backup cam, etc. I may end up swapping out the deck at some point too though.
  6. Those are 6000K, bi-xenon. For the price I paid you cant beat it. But due to the shape of the headlight, and the way the filament of the bulb sits, the drivers side illumination seems a bit off (and slightly irritating to me) compared to the passenger side. I'm wondering if I can somehow spin the bulb 180°. I got aftermarket heating pad's installed in my stock seats at the same time I had a Clifford 2-way alarm/starter installed. They were able to put the rocker switches in my empty panel spots in the dash.
  7. For those who really want to know about red lights and human night vision. This article explains a lot.
  8. So, I again changed out the rear cargo lights. I felt they didn't have enough lumens, and I'm not ready to made any time consuming changes to the placement of the lights and/or adding more. So I replaced them with these. They are much brighter and I'm super happy with them. I may even replace the cabin map lights with them too.
  9. So, I just installed these. Install was really easy. Probably took me about 40 minutes in 15°F weather and light snow. I could see a color and brightness difference right away. So far no issues, no errors, no erroneous dash lights. This is a video online that I watched prior and the steps are almost the same if not even easier, but for the most part the kit is plug and play. Just gotta attach a ground to the chassis at each ballast and then at the light further from the battery, the plug for the light is not used as its pulling power from the controller located at the other light closer to the battery. I'll try to post some pictures of daytime illumination high/low, and night time illumination later on. Tomorrow I'm dropping her off to get a remote start and heated seats installed. Here is some pics of the kit I mentioned above installed. My iPhone compensated for the High Beam so it looks as if theres no difference.
  10. Saw this ebay ad after some Googling.
  11. My 2012 NV2500 High-top that I use for my business gets 12 mpg. I havent towed my 6x6 trailer for over 2 years now, and I have aluminum shelving so I don't think my load is incredibly heavy.
  12. Those bulbs are discontinued now. These came up as a similar replacement product. Would these fit?
  13. Im about to purchase these after some Googling. I'll report back after I get it done. Speaking of lights though. Has anyone replaced ANY bulbs (interior or exterior) with brighter LED ones? If so, what light, and which LED bulb should we get/avoid? Edit, I found this thread about Interior LED's. But does anyone have anything for Exterior LED's?
