  1. Again, thanks for the info and part number. Not sure i will pay $59.09 for a flat piece of plastic with no moving parts that measures 20 inches by 7 inches. Yikes. Maybe I don't need the little pocket that much, just looked like something should go there..Randy
  2. Thanks. That is exactly what I thought it looked like. I'll talk to parts counter again on my next visit.
  3. I notice mine does this fluctuating as well. Doesn't really bother me, but never had a vehicle do this before. 2014 nv1500
  4. Hi. I've got a 2014 NV1500 cargo van that I love. A little over 40K miles in two years. My question is on the inside of the rear door (Driver's side) there is a cut out and three little indents (left, right and bottom). It looks like something should pop into those indents and make a spot to hold maps or what not. I asked at the local dealership where I bought my van and have all the service done, but the parts guy could not find anything for the door. I'm thinking maybe the part is only on the inside of passenger vans? Does anybody have this partition? If so, on what van? Thanks, Randy On another note, I've got the v6 and hauling 4 windsurf boards, coolers, mountain bike, camping gear, etc and after 40,000 miles I am getting 22 mpg if I keep it around 65 on the freeway, drops to 17-18 when I am in Texas and doing 80 on the freeway; Could not be happier with the van. Zero issues so far!
  5. Hi. I also posted this reply in the nv1500 section but thought I would add it here as well for another testimonial. Ive got 26000 miles on my nv 1500 low roof. Bought new. Just drove 3800 miles from Arroyo Grande, CA to South Padre Island, TX and back. Van was loaded with 2 windsurf boards, 5 sails, masts, booms, windsurfing gear, two coolers, suitcase, mountain bike and a platform built out of 1.5" PVC that has a mattress for sleeping while on the road. If I kept the speed at or under 65 mph, it was easy to get 22 mpg. In Texas with 80 mph freeway speeds, my gas mileage dropped to 18 mpg. All freeway driving, stopping every 400 miles or so to fill up. The only changes I have made to the van are to install a window in the sliding door for better visibility when backing up. Very pleased with the van. zero problems so far.
  6. I recently completed a 3700 mile round trip from Arroyo Grande, CA to South Padre Island, TX. My NV 1500 was loaded with 2 windsurf boards, 5 sails, 4 masts, 2 large bins holding all my fins, wetsuits etc, 1 mountain bike, two coolers, suitcases and an interior platform that I made out of 1.5 inch pvc pipe with a matress on top for sleeping while traveling. I kept records of every fill up. If I kept the van to 65 mph, I consistently got 22+ mpg. When crossing a lot of Texas where the speed limit is 80 mph, my gas mileage dropped to 18 mpg. All of this was freeway driving, only stopping to get gas every 400 miles or so. My 2014 van now has 26,000 miles and have had zero problems. The only thing I have changed on it was having a side window installed in the sliding door to increase visibility when backing up. Just thought I would give another perspetive on gas mileage. Around town, real stop and go condtions, I only get 15-16 mpg.
