Hi there, our tank also has a 3'' lift, larger tires, and 4x4. i dont recall the exact height, but it clears an 8 ft garage by about an inch. so maybe like 95''... -
Tires are 275/65/20. Whom ever came up with this size nailed it, the slide door opens just fine, but I don't know that you could fit a piece of paper between the tire and door. That being said the tire does not leave any markings on the door. I do have a lift advanced 4x4 put it on from the dealer, I believe it's a 2" or possibly 3". That being said a friend of mi e has 20" rims and no lift just factory NV wits 20's and they do t seem to have a problem with it either. -

Hood Protector Exterior Stick-On Brackets

have not had any problems with my hood deflector. I was parked in moab for a few hours the other day and in was 102 degrees. didn't notice any problems......but I didn't get out and inspect the hood deflector either. -

Hey everyone, so as far as I know I am the only one on the forum with the advanced 4X4 conversion. If there are any pics you would like let me know ill post them. The tow speed transfer case is a must, two hi, four hi, and two low is awesome, no hubs to lock, it's out of the way of my right leg. I have a few pics of the 4x4 shift column in my "tank nv" photos, but I can take some of the underside also.

New 2016 NV Passenger Owner

Ok so I am having the same issue. My NV of course is converted with 4x4, and added accessories so I am having trouble insuring the vehicle with coverage for the cost of the NV plus upgrades. Safeco (which I have been with for 10 years) wouldn't insure it, my agent found coverage through travelers and they will insure the $41K vehicle and $20K in upgrades. Yes my premium went up about $60/month from the suburban. And they have had trouble running a VIN number because the vehicle is too new or something. But all in all travelers is now the owner of all 4 of my vehicles and no longer safeco. -
Dented....Are you talking on the inside of the vehicle? I have two DVD players adds for the kids (sanity) of the parents.

Any one doing Running Boards, Steps or Nerf Bars?

I have custom nerd bars on my black nv check out my photo gallery. My kids climb up into the vehicle with no problem. My 4x4 also has a 3" lift and 20" wheels. -

Chris, thank you, the family loves the truck, the 4x4 was put in here in Utah by advanced4x4vans.com. Look them up they do a lot of different conversion vehicles. My NV has 4H, 4L, and 2H modes they put a different transfer case under it and I believe drive lines etc. their web page explains the parts used. They put the 20" wheels and nitro grappler tires, roof rack, ladder, and custom made running boards on it. I can try and get some pictures of the undercarriage but don't know how well they will let you see what's going on.

I saw online the one from Ken Garf and that is when I said I will buy one as long as it looks like that one. We rolled up on Tim Dahle Nissan Saturday and as we drove onto the lot there it was. Advanced 4x4 did all the work, lift etc. I still have some chrome (grill, bumpers) that the Ken Garf truck did not. Picks coming soon. What other modifications can be done to these vehicles? How do I add pictures to this forum??

We finally did it and bought our first Nissan NV 3500. We found the one we really wanted and it is black. has a 3' lift but the weight of the vehicle makes it closer to 2". 20" rims with nitto grappler tires, aluminess roof rack and ladder up the back. nice running boards. I am wanting to put a light bar on the top of the roof rack. maybe a bull guard on the front. we are so new to this vehicle I don't know what all to post. I will get some pictures up on the site soon.
