  1. Chris, We've had one in as an inventory piece....cargo 3500 High Roof....(since sold) and have a couple of more on the way, I honestly don't think it changed the radius one bit. Steering does feel a bit heavier though.

  3. nope. In canada you can order certain specs of high roof with all around glass. Very rare I'd think. I've not actually ever seen one in person.
  4. No clue here. Never had anyone complain about that before. Sorry.
  5. I've been there for NV training. A fantastic and very interesting facility. We drove all the competitors cargo vans over a couple of the test tracks there.
  6. As I understand it there is a roll over valve in the tank which would prevent a hose getting down there to siphon out. Be careful having a incorrectly sealing gas cap would cause a check engine light. Those are the running boards I've put on customer vehicles too. I'm not thrilled with them but limited options. I've not put these on yet but I see you can order them. http://www.luvernetruck.com/Product_Line/Grip_Steps/grip_steps.html Quigley Motor company has them on their passenger van. Has anyone tried them?

    Billet Grille

Has anyone ordered any from anywhere? Our usual suppliers do not carry NV ones. I found this guy online: http://genxtrims.com/products/nissan/nv.php Anyone have any other sources?
  8. Payload is everything you put in the vehicle, weight of you, your cup of coffee, your stuff. So yes. I'd suggest you'll be just fine.
  9. In Canada they setup NV as a different dealership agreement altogether (in stead of Joe Nissan it'd be Joe NCV). Some of the other dealers do want to carry the units but aren't allowed as they weren't granted the franchise which causes no end of whining in my market. NV200 and big NV are exclusive to NCV dealers up here.
  10. Here's a poor shot of the dvd screens I was referring too earlier.

    Visor mirrors

had a customer put one of those plastic dollar store mirrors underneath the clip on the visor. Haven't heard of an aftermarket one at all.
  12. Hahah. It started with a phone call to the electronics/car start place we use. Can you put in a DVD player in the back of a NV passenger I asked?. They said yes. I said how much. They said 2400. I said ok. Then I dropped the van off to get the work done complete with PO. ****** Not much too it from my end of things other than that. As I said it's a larger sceen in front near the passenger/driver seats, two smaller screens in the back. The smaller screens can slave to the front or show independently with a DVD player mounted in there. The screens fold up on the cieling too so they are out of the way when entering the vehicle. There's an FM modulation thing or 6 wireless headsets too. The two 8 inch screens are on the sliding door side, and angled so the rear seats can see clearly. Not too sure what else I can say really.
  13. Ah they are fine but unless you have an issue I wouldn't worry. If there is a problem, go through the crap at the dealership then if they can't fix take matters into your own hands with one of the products to support the back end.
  14. There's nothing wrong with the design nor an error to be corrected.
  15. I've put supersprings on the NV several times, tire shop I use recommended it so it must fit or be compatible. 2nd post is a legit complaint, I had a couple of customers complain about it. I asked them to go to a road side scale and get the vehicle weighed. My suspicion is payload is being exceeded in most of the cases. Also advised to spread the weight out a bit, worrying about exceeding the gross axle weight rating. If I got a complaint about sagging today I'd ask the customer to bring the vehicle in and I'd go weigh it myself with my tech's. If it was under payload amount and sagging excessively I'd push service to find a solution. It's not the end of the world to sag a bit as adding weight and a bit of sag goes together quite logically. The question becomes at what point is it excessive, at what point does it mean that the leaf springs aren't doing the designed job? I don't know how to answer that. Payload includes everything you put in the vehicle: driver, shelves, the weight of your gas, cargo, your morning cup of coffee......I've found customers often underestimate the weight being put in. I've advised and talked several clients into 3500 cargos after seeing what they carry. I've had customers ignore my suggestion and had several come back and tell me I was right.
  16. I'm anti-airbags and much prefer a product called Super Springs (supersprings.com) as a leveling spring for those that complain about sagging.
  17. What info are you seeking exactly?
  18. If the board was busier.....either or I suppose.
  19. Yeah I meant in the fancy computer scan tool that the techs have to disable. No complaints (out of the ordinary anyways) for the aftermarket ones thus far.Have sold several of the after market ones in the past.
