  1. Sorry for the late reply. A nice employee a local home depot store helped me cut the key, which is rare. Many stores like walmart lowes usually refused to cut the key with transponder chip. AS far as I know the key can not be programmed without those professional tools. I actually clone my master keys with a programmer named CN900 mini with CN3 cloner chip. If you are close to San diego, I can help you clone the transponders chip for free and you only need to buy cn3 cloner chips (30 dollar for 5 of them I think, https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20180312170440&SearchText=cn3). I believed ACE store can clone a key for about 70 dollar each or less.
  2. https://www.channel3000.com/news/crime/2-seriously-injured-in-wreck-between-semi-van-hauling-camper/603403069 What would happen if it was not a NV but a SUV or sedan? Hopefully the seriously injured recovered.
  3. Diagrams of harness 8. I use dialectical grease to have better seal and protect the contacts 9. Install the white lock plate 10. Double check the wire secured and plugged in the right place. Basically reverse the first few steps to assemble the connector and the cover box. 11. Route the wire with zip ties all the way to the back by following the factory wire to the back bumper. My towing hitch has not come yet, so just hung the connector with zip tie underneath the bumper. 12. Remove the cover of relay box behind the battery, and install the four relays. 13. Recap the relay box cover and reconnect the battery negative. 14. The brake controller connector (white) is right beside the brake paddle close to , and it appears to be an easy install. I am still searching for the harness for my brake controller. At the same time I am waiting for the towing hitch and 4&7 way connecter and mounting bracket from Etrailer to finish the project.
  4. Bought a 2016 NVP SV without towing package. The towing wiring kit from etrailer requires routing wire through firewall and connecting to battery, which I do not like. After some research, I found there is an OEM wiring kit available (part number is 999T8-HW000). So I shot a good deal off ebay and started the journey of installing them. 1. First go to this website to download the manual from Nissantech, and read the manual. https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/asistgc_1/USENG/diskdocs/1 2. Disconnect negative of the battery—very important 3. Check passenger side underneath the back of front wheel, and you will see a box, unlock the two clips by pushing the black plastic in the middle, and take the cover off. Then you will the connector 4. I forgot to take a picture here for the connector, but it is the same as manual like this, take off the connector by unscrewing the 10mm bolt on the mounting bracket, do not bother taking the mounting bracket off the connector as described in manual. 5. Separate the connector by pushing the lever by hand, and do not use too much force, or you may break it. This is the female connector where the towing wire will be go into Front look 6. Remove the white lock plate by prying the four dents near the four corners 7. Rremove the 7 rubbers sealer from the female connector, I found it is very easy to use a paper clip to push the sealer out. Paper clip works well to remove the rubber sealers.
  5. Does any body hate the bulky OEM wireless control. I bought this set of keys, cut and program them, now it looks better in my key chain. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Remote-Key-Fob-Keyless-Entry-Ignition-ID46-For-CWTWB1U751-Nissan-Frontier-US-/112322244969?hash=item1a26ed7169
  6. It key fob is completely broken. Just buy a couple off ebay. it is very cheap and easy to program. I did for my 2016 NVP. https://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_nkw=2+Replacement+Keyless+Entry+Remote+Key+Fob+for+Nissan+Frontier+Titan+Xterra+&_id=221393317437&&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2658
