  1. Just curious, where did you mount the backup alarm? I want to get one for my van and am looking at the possible options. Thanks
  2. I totally agree with Wezard's comment about the Rear View Safety Third brake light camera. It works but I am very disappointed on how far back it shows, as he stated, maybe 15-20 feet and that is it. Nothing any further back. I am trying to see if I can figure out a way to tilt the camera further up to see more of what is behind me. It may work ok on a high top but on a standard van, it is very disappointing.
  3. Benton Nissan, Hoover Alabama. The Commercial Sales Manager treated us very nice when we were purchasing it and they worked with us to finance it thru our Credit Union. The one time I took it in for service to fix the "fan and transmission" problem, they knew exactly what to do and updated the ECM and modified the bottom fan shroud without any questions. This was before the official Nissan update was published. They told me as I was leaving that if I ever had any problems to bring it straight to them and not worry about needing an appointment.
  4. The dealer that fixed mine is Benton Nissan in Hoover Alabama. They are the only Commercial Nissan Dealer in the area. They treated me nice and kept me posted as they went thru the repair process. So far, no problems have shown up with the ECM update.
  5. I had mine (2017 v8) worked on by the dealer yesterday for this. They adjusted the lower fan shroud on the big fan. According to them the loud fan noise is a small auxiliary fan that runs at a high speed when the big fan is having a problem. My large fan was actually striking the lower shroud. They also updated the ECM module with a new program. Mine was the second one that they had worked on for the problem. The first one they actually had a Nissan Engineer come in to work on it. So far it is working!
