  1. Been watching this one, but choking... http://www.campbellnissancommercial.com/nissan-new-cars/detail/New-2017-Nissan-NV-Passenger-V8-SL/965/5BZAF0AA1HN850521
  2. There can be some useful info there, but more here and also followup. And as radin2son mentioned, the FB thing. Too many stories about how many kids they can pack into an NV. Lots of pics of 9 kids, who can afford that now days? It is also a slow time, getting back to school, etc.. I don't see the NV listed on the Sportsmobile website, how did you get yours radin2son?
  3. Looks like he sold it. I think CO vans raised the roof?
  4. Love the penthouse on the high roof.
  5. Looks fine for a one man general contractor type.
  6. I have no knowledge of toilets, other than using a plunger on them. Will cutting a hole in floor be a resale problem?
  7. I should have mentioned the conversion also had a "lift" and 18 inch wheels and tires and it was an NVP. SE Alaskans like to shop "the lower 48", avoid paying sales tax. So that is where I have been hunting. Came across a 2016 NVP V8 SL, still advertising over $40K, but I would like to think they would work with you on that one. Pearl White. Saw the literature from Nissan for the 2018 release, not much change. Nothing worth mentioning.
  8. Have been looking around and there seems to be quite a few 2017s left on dealer lots. They don't advertise any deals either. Are they going to discount the 2017s at all? Saw one with the 4x4 conversion, $60K.
  9. That might not be realistic, not enough of them around and they seem to hold their value.
  10. I spoke with Ernie this past week at Quigley. The short of it, still working on it. They hope to have everything ready to go in February 2018. Just in time for the 2018s likely. Obviously no changes to the power plant in 2018, they would know.
  11. Thanks for the welcome! Looking at a cargo. Trying to decide on the roof before making a decision. Leaning towards the high roof, but like the "look" of the low roof. We'll have to think it through, I did look at your gallery photos, and that's what makes it tough. We have a B&B and have been transporting quests from the small cruise ship dock to the Inn using our QX80. Don't want to do that anymore, too many little dings, they can ride in the pickup truck instead. Throw them bags in the back as hard as you want. So, we want to travel in the Lower 48 and the Q is too small and I would never put the dog in it either. We have been Toyota people and no complaints there, but the Q has made us Nissan fans, and the van appears to be right up our alley. My wife and I are true believers and have solemn faith in the adage, "tonnage has the right of away". We like what the van brings.
  12. Coloraaaghdo- I'm interested in the lift and conversion as well. I spoke with Quigley yesterday and they are not doing 2017 conversions at this time. My hearing isn't the greatest, but I'm pretty sure that this was the gist of it. The salesman indicated that were re-engineering the parts due to the design changes in the 5.6L and the new 7 speed transmission. Expected to be completed sometime in February. Which would coincide with the release of the 2018 NV. Quigley has a stocking dealer near their plant. You can get the conversion/lift through the dealership and have it included in the purchase price. Plus you get a road trip, fly and drive!
  13. In the hunt for an NV 3500HD. Saying good bye to the SUV.
