Great topic, thankyou to the thread starter for the pics, they helped loads to remove the door panels, i found 3 types of plastic pin clips on my panels, many orange, few black and a few white ones, the white pin clips were not so forgiving to pop off and all broke at the head that holds to the door panel so be prepared for that unless you have the proper popping tool to keep that from happening.. i used pair of Rockford fosgate 6.5 2 way speakers, they sound amazing !! At first i did the topic starters method of using the old speakers frame to hold the new speaker but found it made the new speaker hit the door panels when mounted back on so i took them off and used the mounting brackets that hold the speaker rings to mount the new speakers, it works perfect, loads of clearance for the door panels and the magnet from hitting the window, it also sounds better as it sits inside the chamber better creating thicker bass tones... i also added a little sound deadner to make it more solid... hope this adds a little more insight... cheers
