  1. Finally got around to trying the Reese universal hitch (Reese Trailer Hitch 37042) on the front of the NV3500, and it works great. I just removed and used the existing tow hook mounts, and installed it upside down to give more ground clearance (just required cutting out a notch in the bottom of the bumper.)
  2. Hi, new here having recently bought a used NV3500SL Passenger and getting it set up for towing our camper and hauling dogs. I came here to ask a question about front hitch options since there appears to be none commercially available, and see there is already this thread on the topic. I too am primarily looking to use it for cargo (bike rack, cargo platform, etc.) so it doesn't need to be full Class III/IV capable. It appears the options already explored and used have been an entirely new custom hitch, or modifying a front hitch designed for the Titan. I was wondering however, if anyone has tried to use a multi-fit receiver, such as this one? It hasn't been identified for this use, it is primarily designed/ fitted for multiple older pre-2000 trucks, but it looks adjustable enough to maybe work when compared to the Titan front receiver. Any thoughts on whether it might be worth a try? Thanks! https://www.reeseprod.com/products/trailer-hitches/class-iii-iv-multi-fit/class-iii-trailer-hitch/WfzaCtfZMf2yqFNu2qbv2loAYlpEH3ZB
