ill keep the stockers, and get a good set of chains for emergency use
  2. good choice to go with the 3500... the 5.6 and the 3.54 rear end make it decent to drive, for a van. should tow great too, mine does. high or low top?
  3. i would reccomend the 3500 with the V8.. the 3500 comes with the 3.54 rear end and with that light of a load it should get great MPG
  4. wish i would of know about the wing kit when i got my van and the partition
  5. seems a bit pricey to me... starting at 212.00? i got some seat covers for my NV at an Autozone for 30 dollars and they feel look exactly the same.. they have been getting greasy and abused everynight of the week for about 9 months.. seats still look like new underneath.
  6. is the problem a consistent problem or is it sometimes there? i would not settle for that.... go to a different dealer or raise hell at that one. its a brand new vehicle with 10000 miles
  7. at this point everyone who buys these vans is taking a gamble... there are few of these vans around now and the ones that are around have low miles.... only time will tell. so far the vans have been decent for the most part, on minor issues here and there... but the NV is definatley the most comfy, best performing van out of the econoline, express and sprinter. as for fuel economy, im pleased with my MPG's... get about 14 MPG but i have around 2000lbs of gear and a loaded ladder rack
  8. noticed this noise at 3000k miles... went for an oil change and dealer said they havent dont have time to fix it, i have to make an appointment.
  9. people probably think your driving around in a rolling blackroom at night. just ordered cool white bulbs for the 2 front map lights..will get the 3 rear lights if these work well.
  10. Is this written anywhere? is there proof of this anywhere?
  11. I would try and tow with it as it is and see how it performs.. play with the manual shift too.
  12. im not smarter, but i would have to assume the OP would have to find a way to figure out if the van is pre-wired for tow haul, for example my 03 chevy silverado didnt comewith turn signal mirrors, all you have to do is buy turn signal mirrors and plug them in and they work. if thats the case you should be able to get the tow haul switch, and install it and plug it in.. if not id assume youd have to go deep into the vehicle to install something like that. Also, thats not something that any aftermarket company makes. the only thing i can think of would be to get a handheld tuner that has the capabilites to tune it for towing. Had a superchips handheld tuner on a silverado i had that i could change shift pressure and shift points... not sure if there even is one for the NV yet. Also, what are you towing? why do you want the tow haul anyway? it really wouldnt benefit the vehicles performance in any way unless your were towing close to max payload. And if you wanted it to hold the gears longer you could put it in manual mode and have it upshift and downshift exactly when you want and
  13. so is there a bulb you can get to just replace without having to mess with wiring?
  14. 2012's have the MPG, and nissan deleted it for 2013
