  1. Hi Cedric, Welcome to the forum! I'm new here also. Just bought the NV3500 HD SV passenger van this week. (Tech and Tow package) LOVE IT! When it comes to work vehicles, I was a die hard Ford fan for more than 30 years, (trucks and vans both) and really did my research before buying this van. It is everything they say it is - and more! Has all the stability and handling of a 1 ton pickup truck with the capacity of a large van. I went back and forth on the high top vs the passenger style, and the passenger van won out in the long run, basically due to the extra sound proofing and creature comforts. I'll still use it to haul stuff for the business, but want to have the option of taking family members (or assistants) along on road trips. If you are looking to buy your first van, this is the one to get! (beats all the others on power, style, and options)
  2. What brand is your controller? I thought this would be a good place to mount it as well.
  3. Congrats, Lisa! We just got our NV3500 SV passenger van 3 days ago, and like you, I'm in love! It really does handle more like a truck than a van, and seems to have much more stability on turns, wet pavement, etc. than our Ford e350. My hubby is over 6' tall, and I'm 5'10", and the leg room in the front can't be beat! Our family is all grown (no grand kids yet), but the youth group at church is already droolin' at the possibilities! LOL We're in Michigan, and I'm not worried about how it's going to handle in the snow. It is a pretty bottom heavy, stable design. Far better than a standard Ford van. I like the idea that was mentioned about adding some salt bags in a tote in the back. Perfect! Enjoy the ride. :-)
  4. Hi all! I'm new to the group. Just took ownership of our Nissan NV3500 v8 SV passenger on Monday. LOVE IT!! Got the tow package and the tech package. (totally cool options!) Going to use it professionally to haul our 18' custom cargo trailer and our artwork to the juried art fairs across the U.S. This van replaces our 2004 Ford E350 cargo van (sort of. we haven't broken the news to it yet that it is now a "local only" van. ;-) ) Researched (to death) this purchase before pulling the trigger. Got to say, I'm loving our decision! Oh, and so far, the mpg average has been over 20 mpg local/hwy combined driving (without the trailer). I can live with that!
