  1. Here's the red LED lights in action: We leave the rear driver seat out for extra cargo space. As such, we replaced the overhead map light and cargo light with a cool white LED:
  2. My dealer (or rather the body shop they sent it to) fixed the connectors on the sliding door by putting a 1/8" washer behind the screws and sealing with caulk. Works every time now!
  3. There is a small antennae on the roof that I assume is for the GPS. Perhaps the XM shares the same antennae (my hunch is it does since both GPS and XM are using Satellite radio frequencies). It's roughly the size and shape of a deck of cards.
  4. Dealer had body shop across the street fix the paint and door alignment issue. Much better! Discovered more missing paint, but not sure it's worth the hassle to fix it since its not easily visible. The sliding door lock is just bad design. Body shop fixed it by installing a 1/8" washer behind the connector harness screws and sealing it with caulk. Works great now.
  5. I had the same exact issue on the same seat! Reseating it solved the chirp. Must be installed at factory that way.
  6. Did you get them? I'm looking for running boards as well, but I don't want to give up my factory mud flaps.
  7. Nothing major, but a surprising amount of things that seem to be quality check issues at the factory: 1) Missing paint on the inside of the rear door. It's not easily noticed, but the painter missed a section about the size of a compact disc on the rear door. It's primed, but the main paint (Java) is missing. 2) Passenger seat sensor is faulty. The seat belt warning light comes on for the passenger even though no one is in the passenger seat. This happens about 75% of the time. 3) Sliding door is not flush with the side of the van when closed. I discovered today that this allows water inside the vehicle when washing it. Not good. 4) Sliding door power lock doesn't work. You have to lock/unlock it with the key every time I have an appointment on Monday to get all of these items fixed which they said will take 3 days (mostly because of the paint).
  8. The part finally came in and it goes in on Monday for repair. They are fixing a number of issues I discovered at the same time.
  9. My side sliding door is leaky and also allows water inside when getting washed. I have an appointment on Monday to get the door fixes as it is visibly not flush with the body when closed. They are also fixing a few other things.
  10. Using this thread as my inspiration, I replaced all of the light in the cabin with red LEDs (with the exception of the rear cargo light which is cool white). The red is great for illuminating things while driving at night without affecting your ability to see the road. Works great for my kids that want a light on as well. My wife's main concern is that the red wouldn't be bright enough. They are plenty bright though. I'll try to remember to take some pics tonight.
  11. Took my van to the dealer and they tested the lock actuator. They said they put a voltage tester on it and it would input ok, but only sometimes output. They ordered a new one and will adjust the door at the same time next week. Here's hoping it all goes well.
  12. Just purchased a 2013 NV 3500 SV Passenger V8. The sliding door doesn't lock automatically so when you set the alarm, you can just open the door and the alarm goes off. I also noticed that the the top left of the door isn't flush with the rest of the vehicle. The rest of the door is flush, but the upper left door and window (while facing it) sticks out about 1/2" away from the rest of the side body. I'm taking it in tomorrow. I seem to recall that someone else had a similar problem, but I couldn't find the thread. Must be using the wrong search terms. ;) edit: spelling
