Mine does this too. In fact, I am sitting at my dealer service right now, and that is one of the things I asked them to look at. I'll post if they find anything.

After our first family excursion (1500 mile round trip) in our NV passenger van... A resounding yes!

I got an email and snail mail notice from Nissan Commercial one month after I bought mine. No comment or indication as to whether or not it was retroactive, but surely they wouldn't expect me to trade mine in for a new one after just one month... I have my first service coming up, I'll ask the dealer about it then.

2013 NV Passenger SL. Avg 12.5 mpg with mixed 70/30 city/hwy driving in 1st 1000 miles... Looking into options to better this.

Don't get me wrong, I really love the NV, but fuel economy is dismal. During break in I got 12mpg with mixed driving. I recently switched to mid grade fuel, but it's too soon to tell if it makes a difference. I've looked into tuners and can only find one from Bully Dog. I'm really wanting to improve fuel economy, and was wondering if anyone has used a tuner to help with that. I'm coming from a diesel background (Ford Powerstroke and VW TDI), and know they can work wonders on those. Do gas tuners really do anything?

Had it a month. So far so good, save for a few minor things (passenger seat belt light remains illuminated intermittently, rear window rattle, sonar sensors intermittently beeping while driving). We have a large family, so we needed a large vehicle (this replaces my 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 7.3L Diesel. I was really wanting to get the Sprinter (for the diesel motor) but my wife wanted the Nissan for comfort/options to initial cost ratio. The more I drive it, the more I'm glad I listened to my wife. Aside from the minor stuff I listed above, and the gas mileage (yikes), we all agree this van is perfect for our family. I love the looks from people who wonder what the heck it is, and the most common question I get is why? That is until they see the herd of kids piling out of the back of it. Joining the forum to see what other are experiencing, and to look into options for getting better milage. There doesn't seem to be much out there for this vehicle.
