TransCanada is on my list. I was Temporary Duty at most of the remote radar sites and was planning on taking leave and driving from AK to PA. Well things didn't work out and I ended up in Germany. Some day....

I've had the same problem with rust spots and tried a few different products. Wax and polish works also a clay bar. The most recent product was Car-Pro's iron x which worked very well and easy to use. Seems like the fall weather brings it on every year alot of rain moisture.

Try Super Springs.

I used the heavy duty velcro stick on and solved the problem. My original(factory) stick on pulled the paint off the bracket as well.

Magnetic key cases work well.

I can not comment on the 1500. I have the 2500 V6 low roof, around town 12 mpg on the highway 15 to 16 mpg. Load around 300-1000 lbs.
