The doors are open. I have dark tint; when I close the doors you can barely see the Red, Green and Blue. -

Bought two packs of 5 LED lights from Costco. Used some heavy duty 3M tape and had a field day. Hopefully it'll stick. It came with a remote so I can turn them all on/off from the front. Since I bought two packs, I have two remotes.-
