    Wall installation

From the album: 2013 NV2500 HD Camper Conversion

When I first bought the van it had the commercial bins, safety cage panels, wall boards and console in it. I removed all of them. I sold the shelving but still have the other items for sale. I installed sound deadner, thinsulate, and the foil type insulation. I install nailers using the existing threaded inserts using bolts M8 1.25 from ace. Nothing else will work. I installed threaded rivets in the existing holes used for the push pins that held the wall boards on. I used thin paper as a template for the location. I used paper templates for just about everything. Nothing is square or level in the van. I used 5/8 Baltic birch in 5x5 sheets cut to fit. I chose it because of its size and cost. I found a supplier who sold sherts for 20.00 each...yes 20. He makes shipping boxes for the specialty equipment for high end electronics. The ceiling is 1/4 inch and with the 5x5 sheets it was easy to cover with 2 sheets. I used akreg jig and screws to secure panels to floor and other componets.
