I have a 2013 NVP low roof unmodified. I was under the impression when I bought this van that I could configure the seats in many different ways. That was a selling feature, but what I found out was that really, you can only remove seats, not reconfigure them. Either they are in or out, but not switched around. For instance, my main wish would be to put 4 seats across the third row and leave the back for cargo storage. But you can not put that back passenger side seat anywhere in the van except exactly where it is. It will not fit in the seond or third rows. Likewise the single seats on the second and third rows will only fit on the outside of the second or third rows. So, I cannot put a single seat next to the window on any row and I cannot put 4 across on any except the fourth row. I thought it would be cool to put captian chair style on the second row and four across the third... not gonna happen. Has anyone done simple alterations to allow more configuration? Can you buy the floor mounts for the seats anywhere and install them? Also I heard a rumor that you can turn the seats around to face the rear. That would be handy for long trips to have rows facing each other. I attempted this by myself and it didn't go well. Just curious if anyone has gotten this to go?

As promised, I've uploaded a short video describing how I turned the 2nd row of my 2015 NV Passenger Van (SL) to be rear-facing. This should work in all years, trims of the passenger van. (You can see a pic in the gallery under "Colorado Crew" Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/3NmZ0z3isJI

Hey guys, I've had some issues with the dealership I bought my NVP 3500 from so I thought I'd try to get some answers here. I recently removed one of the rear seats for some additional cargo area and when I reached for the plastic covers the dealership gave me to fill the mounting holes in the floor, I noticed that there was no way the ones in my hand were going to work. It appears they'll work in the front row, the one where you can mount the seats in one of two locking positions, but not the other two rows. Upon contacting the dealership, they said they really didn't know and they'd have to pull another NVP into the service bay and check it out because no one really has the answer and it's not something that they can look up. So my question to the other NVP owners is.......how many of those covers come with the van from the factory and am I correct in thinking the front row covers are different from the two rear rows? If pics are necessary to get an understanding of my situation, just let me know and I'll get them. Would really appreciate any help anyone could give. Dealership has been giving me the run around from the day they took my money.

I would like to sell my 2nd row seats from my 2016 Nissan NV 3500 Passenger Van since my vehicle was made wheelchair accessible. The color of the seats is gray. The second row (right behind the driver seat) includes a double seat and an single seat. Can provide pictures on request. The seats are new, taken out of a new vehicle. Please make offer. OK to do local delivery, otherwise the buyer will need to pay for shipping.

Hello All! We are new owners of a Black '15 SV V8 with tech & tow package, just purchased a week ago. We have our 6th child on the way and the wife didn't want to drive a "Yoder Toter" (where we are from many Amish workers catch a ride to job sites in Chevy Express or Ford Econoline vans and many of them are named Yoder - for those of you not in the know). I've driven large vehicles for a long time and find it amusing that I can back in a parking spot better than many people can pull into one - especially in this van! Some questions - 1. Can the seats be put in the reverse position like in a limo? 2. Does taking out the headrests matter for safety? Does it help with visibility out of the rear view? (we have 2 kids in car seats and 2 kids in boosters and 2 sit normally). 3. I read on a thread in one of the forums that Nissan is paying attention to consumers - do you think they will ever catch on that the seats need to have a little recline in the back (like an airline seat) or that you can fold them down in half? Mini-Vans do that...and yes, I know these are built on a commercial platform. 4. What's the best way to clean the seats and what are the most economical seat covers? 5. Would love to have the window master switch be automatic rolldown and rollup for both passenger and driver windows! Is that only available on the SV? 6. If I could ever get a Quigley package, could you put a snow plow on? Thanks!

I am looking for ways to reconfigure my seats in ways that the vehicle is not currently set up for. For example I would like to put four seats across the third row or maybe put a single seat by the window. I was wondering if maybe you could put down a thick sheet of plywood and install the latches on top any where you want, or just move the ones that are there. In short I want to know if you can get the floor seat latches somewhere or if you can get these mods done somewhere. thanks
