Aluminess Nerf Bar Steps Going On!!!

Recommended Posts

I got a set of Aluminess steps for a Ford E350 and am in the process of fabbing up the mounts to get them on the NVP. Once I'm done fabricating, I will have them powder coated black, and post some more pictures.

I just didn't like any of the steps on the market that are bolt on. The E350 wheel base was similar enough, and so far looks like they'll look good!

Like $650 for the Nerf bars (they were $50 cheaper than advertised because I had them shipped with no powder coating) Wheels are Fuel Mavericks, check my history and you'll see some other posts with all the specs etc.

Got the Nerf steps mounted, and the lift kit completely done. No w I just need to modify the steps so the step plate matches the slide door.

I don't like how they look now, but they are a huge help when it comes to comfort getting in and out. Hopefully I like the way they look when they're black

Do you have an updated picture since modifying the step to align with the sliding door? I just put a deposit on an Aluminess Roof Rack with accessories and wanted to send them a picture of your step.  Hoping that they will see if it's possible to make one that will work with my van with the ladder and other accessories on it.

Fingers crossed!

x2 Those are some great looking steps. I wish they'd offer them for the NV and have an option to mount their side ladder to as well...
