KMG Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) I've mentioned before that my van is odd in that every camping item is designed to be removed. Leaving for MN Thursday and thought I'd post images of my van set up for camping. Edited September 14, 2016 by KMG 1 Bamps reacted to this

KMG Posted September 13, 2016 I don't know why my pictures don't stay in the correct orientation. Sorry.
radin2son Posted September 13, 2016 You are going to have to explain some of your photos. What is the antenna over rear door? Did you ever install an exterior flood light? Your conversion isn't odd. It's a good example of form = function.
KMG Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) Here is a little info on the pics.First Post Pictures:1-4. Battery Box with four 100Ah batteries has a 800W inverter and a toggle switch controlled small LED to see plug and CTEK at night. The box has a harness connecting it to the CTEK/Van. Next to the harness connector on the van is a 40A master disconnect and circuit breaker combo. The box can also function as an independent power source with out the van.5. Pelican Cooler ties down on the battery box making it easier for an oldster like me to reach the bottom.6-8. Booth to bed conversion. Second Post Pictures:1. Marine grade switch panel with 6 switches each with 15A circuit breakers. Installed on the rear side of sliding door opening. the six switches control: 1. dome light, 2. reading lights, 3. big window fan, 4. small over door fan, 5. extra, 6. and soon to be installed outside flood lights.2. Small oscillating fan above slider.3. Accessory panel with 15A circuit breaker. Has a cigarette plug and two USB. Installed on drivers side above where the two windows meet.4. Two goose neck reading lights. The one shown is on the drivers side front side window and the second is where the two windows join for a small light over the table.5. Dome light with white or red LEDs.6. Solar Panel. Kyocera 140W 12VDC. Panel width matches the distance between NV rack mounts.7. Solar Panel Plug. I used a watertight marine trolling motor plug/receptacle. Allows me to remove the panel quickly. I think thats it. Chris Dempsey Posted September 14, 2016 KMG - Looks comfortable and well thought out. I think I’m going to get the 4 x 4 decal, it makes it look badass (as much as that is possible). 1 laharview reacted to this

radin2son Posted April 12, 2018 Didn’t know where to post this, but “cargo to camper” made the the most sense. REI CO-OP Journal has plans for a great platform double bed to fit any cargo van. Basically, it is a bench that fits on the driver’s side with some storage underneath. The support slides out and the hinged bed platform folds out onto the support. Throw a bag or two on it and snooze... 1 ASD Dad reacted to this
Randucci Posted April 21, 2018 What brand are the folding benches you used? Do you have a link for the article: "REI CO-OP Journal has plans for a great platform double bed", I searched and couldn't find it. Thanks.
radin2son Posted April 22, 2018 If using your phone, go to rei.com and you will find shop rei, rei garage etc. Scroll across to co-op journal. This not my van. The article provides a step by step build from scratch for any large van.
niknoid Posted May 26, 2018 Me too, I'd like to know where those bench-to-bed seats came from? What brand are the folding benches you used? Do you have a link for the article: "REI CO-OP Journal has plans for a great platform double bed", I searched and couldn't find it. Thanks.
radin2son Posted June 18, 2018 I wasn’t sure if the above post was for KMG. If so pm him. REI CO-OP Journal has another van dyi project. Fold down tables on the rear doors for cooking and prep. Go to rei.com and the menu to get to there.
