Ryan Stotts Posted October 26, 2016 Are these numbers high, low, or average? Is the cheapest one "good enough "?
Pharomommy Posted October 27, 2016 That seems high for one vehicle, is this a passenger van or cargo? We have progressive, full coverage $500 deductible and pay way less then that. There was some issues when I tried to get quotes, they considered it a 'commercial vehicle' at first and we had to educate them that it wasn't. We have a passenger van btw. Ryan Stotts Posted October 27, 2016 Mine is the cargo. Those numbers are from USAA.
andy_george Posted October 27, 2016 Our passenger van through Progressive is around $800 a year, $1000 deductible, in Michigan, which is generally a higher rate state. Hope that helps!
KMG Posted October 27, 2016 Don't forget insurance rates take driver's record, age, marriage status, and additional policies with them into consideration. 1 ASD Dad reacted to this
whitebread250 Posted October 28, 2016 I have Alfa for all my vehicles and home and they put my 3500 cargo on its own policy because of it being a commercial vehicle. I tried to explain my personal use but lost the argument. Never easy or cheap when dealing with insurance.
