The good the Bad and the ugly about my nissan nv 2500 hd tall top

Recommended Posts

Hello all Let me first say this was not a quick buy for me I knew more about the nissan nv than my NV rep I do my home work way ahead of time.

here is a little background on me so you will know where im coming from.

to see what i do go to www.titnamagic.net and no i did not name my bussiness after i got a titan truck

My last truck nissan titan I needed it, not wanted it best towing for the price. ( i haul a 9000 plus mobile magic shop )

my other dodge 3500 bus shuttle conversion tall top (I use for magic shows and to local small events)

the good

1. the room under the hood

2 .the look looks nice

3 . the big cargo area and upfit ideals

the bad

1. the rear doors and bumper

the REAR AS POORLY DESINGED FOR A CARGO HAULER WHY???

try putting a basic ramp back there the curved area is a nogo and a bad bad bad ideal. really no one saw this and said what the fu*k

this is basic cargo vans, trucks, all need ramps what were they thinking.

( I fixed this ) see my fix later)

2. cargo area is like a truck bed not like a CARGO hauler makes hand trucks and walking hard to do.(i fixed that ) see it later

3. really one 12 volt plug in the dash???? none in the rear or buy the rear view mirror area ( i fixed that ) see my fix later

4. bulkhead install leaves little or no leg room for passagers

5. rear door inner handle why so low if your inside trying to open the doors from the cargo area there is no latches without bending down.

6. cargo lights need a button to turn them on from passager area. so you can turn them on stand up a nd go to work inthe cargo area.

please leave what yout think about these issues

Agree. ONE in the front and none in the rear? WTF?

4. bulkhead install leaves little or no leg room for passagers

Maybe they had to keep it low for loading docks, although, how often do you use those? It would be more practical lower.

6. cargo lights need a button to turn them on from passager area. so you can turn them on stand up a nd go to work inthe cargo area.

A simple, but BIG oversight again.

Van is correct about the loading dock, when you are by yourself it's easy to load from the back!

The center comsole has a plug and ac outlet, hard to reach when driving but no biggie.

Dome switch, I pointed that out to Nissan Engineers and Rep when I met them, they thought it was there, and reply "Oh S***"
