Orvinfive Posted March 19, 2019 When I start my engine I get the following notification (see image attached) which I can't identify -- no other information. If you press Enter it says, "1 Warning" then only gives you the option to "Exit" This repeats endlessly every time I start...
Firefight100 Posted March 19, 2019 There are settings for oil, filter, and tire rotation based on mileage. Check those. You probably hit one of those miles. 3 Mark Rogers, Orvinfive and ASD Dad reacted to this
Orvinfive Posted March 19, 2019 Thanks. I suspected it was something like that, but am surprised that pushing Enter doesn't forward the system to display whatever the relevant milestone is. It's just a blackbox issuing a warning without specifying what it is. I will check it again to see. -Best
radin2son Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) That’s what it is. Check the manual to see if you can reset it. It may have to be reset by the dealer or an independent shop can do this. (Wonder if the quick lube places can?) just have them pick a service interval that works fo you Edited March 19, 2019 by radin2son
Firefight100 Posted March 19, 2019 In the owners manual In my manual it is on page 2-19, under instruments. 1 radin2son reacted to this
Simon & B Posted March 20, 2019 Funny, this happened to us just a week ago. We had to dive into 'Settings' to cancel the darn reminder. At the time, we were in deepest darkest Baja, Mexico, and our first response was 'WTF, where's the nearest dealer?'. Which at the time was many 100's of miles away. Computers! They sucketh.
