bfo Posted April 30, 2019 HiThe oil pressure light came on my 2016 NVP today. First time that's happened. No recent service or event on the van, last oil change (full synthetic) was 3k miles ago and mild temperatures out. There was a gauge displayed too, with bars going from left to right, and the bars were filled in to the middle point. So if that's meant to represent pressure then I'd say it's at "half" pressure or its its oil level then its half full. Still under the 5yr warranty but the dealer is 90 minutes away. Tips on diagnosing at home first? ThanksBrian
Firefight100 Posted April 30, 2019 It is probably the oil change reminder light. Comes on at a preset mileage. Check your manual. 3 ASD Dad, radin2son and Mark Rogers reacted to this
Mark Rogers Posted April 30, 2019 It sounds like you pressed the info button and now you're seeing the oil pressure gauge. See section 2 in your owner's manual. If you press the info button a few more times to cycle through the other gauges, you can make it go back to the way it was. 2 radin2son and ASD Dad reacted to this
bfo Posted May 1, 2019 Yes! It was just the info button. Thank you very much! Here is a photo, in case it helps a future knucklehead such as myself :)https://imgur.com/a/08dzdYG 2 radin2son and Mark Rogers reacted to this
