Keathbordeaux@aol.com Posted June 4, 2019 Bought new it now has 107,000 miles on it, yesterday the VDC light came on and the truck bucked and surged, I pulled over and turned the truck off and then turned it back on again and it ran fine twice in one day, later that evening it broke down after the light came on and would not start again. I had it towed home but then it started fine the next morning, ran for two or 3 miles and the same thing happened again. While waiting for AAA to come after about 20 minutes I cranked it and it ran fine, two or 3 miles later the same thing happened again and it started on its own after 20 minutes, I was on the way to the dealer anyway. Turns out that the problem was that the crankshaft sensor needed to be replaced, a total of $365. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
