Robert Posted December 20, 2019 How To Add / Post Photos There are two ways in which you can add photos to this site. • To add and upload a photo to this site. 1. Click on the reply to topic to open the dialog box. If you're creating a topic, skip to step 2. 2. Drag and drop images to the photo bar. Note that if you're creating a topic, this section will already be here. 3. Drag your images to the add image section. 4. Your images will appear as shown. To add them into a certain part of your post, click the add button. Once the image appears in your post, you can double click on it for more options. You can also click on the trash can icon to delete the image if you don't wish to use it. 5. If you'd like to choose from an image that you've already. uploaded or want to insert an image from else where, choose the "insert other media" link. radin2son Posted December 20, 2019 Mostly I use my phone and the “old” way of adding works again for new posts. Just use “click to choose file” and you will get “take photo or video” or “photo library.” 1 NV Guide reacted to this
radin2son Posted December 20, 2019 (edited) Above also works when adding photos to prior posts. Click edit, “choose file,” select photo library, click on photo and “done.” Photo will be added. Be sure to click save. I added 4 photos to SMB travel. No idea how many photos can be posted. radin2son Posted December 23, 2019 (edited) Will a vertical photo be sideways? No, it shows correctly. Same process. Second trip in NV SMB to Arches in November, 2013. Early storm and temp in mid-teens. Sat it out with a cup of coffee at sunrise. Edited December 24, 2019 by radin2son To see if it worked. 1 andy_george reacted to this
radin2son Posted August 20, 2022 This may be buried somewhere, but I can’t read, or is it be bothered to read. I removed my profile photo long ago and recently tried to add a new one. Too large so I suspect I have to do something from my photo file. Editing the photo doesn’t give me the option of reducing image quality.
Local Apparent Friday Posted August 20, 2022 So...the photo requirements are pretty tiny. I just used GIMP and kept shrinking until it was small enough. It's not necessarily a matter of image quality, just image size. 1 radin2son reacted to this
