How To Add / Post Photos

There are two ways in which you can add photos to this site.

• To add and upload a photo to this site.

1. Click on the reply to topic to open the dialog box.  If you're creating a topic, skip to step 2.

Mostly I use my phone and the “old” way of adding works again for new posts. Just use “click to choose file” and you will get “take photo or video” or “photo library.”

Above also works when adding photos to prior posts. Click edit,  “choose file,”  select photo library, click on photo and “done.”  Photo will be added. Be sure to click save.

I added 4 photos to SMB travel. No idea how many photos can be posted.

Will a vertical photo be sideways? No, it shows correctly. Same process.

Second trip in NV SMB to Arches in November, 2013. Early storm and temp in mid-teens. Sat it out with a cup of coffee at sunrise.

This may be buried somewhere, but I can’t read, or is it be bothered to read.

I removed my profile photo long ago and recently tried to add a new one. Too large so I suspect I have to do something from my photo file. Editing the photo doesn’t give me the option of reducing image quality.

So...the photo requirements are pretty tiny.  I just used GIMP and kept shrinking until it was small enough.  It's not necessarily a matter of image quality, just image size.
