2013NV2500 Posted October 31, 2020 Signed up to make this post. A irritating, almost timing chain rattle developed in my NV. I began paying close attention and it would rattle and stop rattling almost like flipping a switch. Read older 4.0 engines had an issue with the power valve in the intake causing a rattle. After a discussion with local Nissan dealer, and them telling me they have NEVER sold or replaced one, possibly was timing chain I decided to just wing it. Ordered OEM power valve and vacuum diaphragm that controls it. Total time 30 minute to swap it out....rattle gone. Anyone else had the newer designed plastic power valve fail?
