radin2son Posted June 21, 2014 Truck Trend reported Nissan has extended the basic warranty to 50,000/100,000. Not sure if this is for new purchases, as in date announced forward or if currently owned vehicles get this increase. Be great if they did; I'm at 33,000+ miles. Bates, any info? Bates Posted June 21, 2014 Only read about it online, nothing from Nissan. Some site reported that it's only going to be on all 2014 models, not extended back to prior years. Being a Canadian dealer nothing has been reported/changed up here....yet. Nissan has a NV at the test facility that ran almost 900,000km with very few problems. I heard a while back that the NV has the second least amount of warranty claims per vehicle. Don't know if that's true or not.
MikeyNV Posted June 21, 2014 My salesman called me today to let me know of the change. Awesome!

Fazed Posted July 9, 2014 I got an email and snail mail notice from Nissan Commercial one month after I bought mine. No comment or indication as to whether or not it was retroactive, but surely they wouldn't expect me to trade mine in for a new one after just one month... I have my first service coming up, I'll ask the dealer about it then.
Chris Dempsey Posted October 21, 2014 When I heard about the extended warranty, I stopped looking at the competition. Should be getting mine very soon.
