The rear view mirror is useless (in the passenger version as everyone knows). So I would like to flip a button and see what's behind me on the monitor while clipping down the highway.I suggest you to go with a original OEM fit rear view camera for your Nissan NV .now on the market there is a third brake light camera that integrat the camera to your NV 3RD brake light house ,no need to drill holes .the rear view mirror is useless ,so you can take a 7 inch clip on mirror monitor to attach your existing mirror to work with the backup camera .this wendor has a video demonstration ,you get more details from Vardsafe :https://brakelightcamera.com/product-category/nissan-nv/ kind reminder :this camera work with Nissan NV model from 2012 to 2016.
