  1. Followup? I'd love to know how it went/it going. I'm interested in this swivel myself because A. I'm cheap, B. Swivels-R-Us (like many outlets these days, it seems) no longer supports our glorious NV vans. Just judging from the photos, it does seem like the s-r-u swivel is better quality *shrug*
  2. I'm also interested in a bigger filter, but I'm ignorant to the stats if you will. For instance those same filters today say 5552cc. Bigger picture, I would want a bigger filter of a different brand. I'm not big on wix, but maybe I could use their specs to find one in a different brand (?) Anyone else have info on this? I'm rehabbing my baby over here (2015 NV3500 V8 high roof, that I've owned for only 6ish months)!
  3. If not some voltage phenomenon, I'd assume I need a new actuator. Any other ideas/things I'm missing?
  4. Hi all! So are the nicoclub & diyservicemanual manuals the same, except nicoclub is FREE? This may come as a shock, but FREE is my fave price. If I bought a PDF manual, I'd happily share it for free on here (sorry Nissan, but I don't think that will bankrupt you... Losing out on those sweet service manual dollars). I'd also happily compile all the nicoclub sections into one PDF. I only see 2012 & 2016 on nicoclub. Is that because it's only the manuals for those two specific model years or is it supposed to signify one is 2012-2015, and the other is 2016-2021? Upon further investigation, I think it's just those two model years. The 2016 is probably "close enough" for my 2015 NV3500... I guess
  5. I am also interested in upgrading the brakes on my 2015 nv3500 high roof. They're mechanically fine but don't seem as effective/efficient as even my (former) 2013 nv2500. I was just wondering if there are any updates/new suggestions since the last post here is seven years old. Also how the hell is 2017, seven years ago?! Thanks yall!
  6. Hello all! As always, I love this forum and apologies if I'm posting "incorrectly". I have a 2015 NV3500 high roof that's fairly new to me (purchased Sept 2023), but I did previously own a 2013 NV2500. Anyway the previous owner had the rear doors rekeyed (it uses a gray Nissan key instead of black). So the interior buttons do not lock/unlock them. Turning the key in other doors does not lock/unlock them. However, turning they key in the rear doors will lock/unlock the rest of the van. I may not ever re-rekey the rear doors but having them lock/unlock via fob would be nice. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
  7. Hello all! As always, I love this forum and apologies if I'm posting "incorrectly." I have a 2015 NV3500 high roof that's fairly new to me (purchased Sept 2023). The drivers side door doesn't always lock/unlock via key fob or the button inside. Any ideas?
  8. That is strange. I had no problems with my Torchbeam T2 H13/9008 LED Bulbs
  9. VICTORY IS MINE! I'm so happy with the new headlights and no DRL! So the saga is even more ridic... I pulled up on that fuse tray with all my might multiple times from an array of angles, bruising my forearm in multiple places (not to mention all the tools and tricks I tried). I took a screwdriver and BARELY TOUCHED the left side... when I pulled again, it slid right out like it was lubed with vasoline. *Smacks forehead* I dunno wtf that is aboot, but whatever! Of course the bulb swap wasn't as smooth as it was supposed to be either but nbd. All good now! Thank you everyone for your attention & support!!!
  10. Thanks for the well wishes but it's not the cover that's the problem, it's the fuse tray. I'm working on it now, gonna see if my (stronger) friend (with more tools) can help. This is so ridic. The left side simply will not move...
  11. UPDATE: I'm at wits end and want to break lots of things! Any ideas? Long(er) version: The left side of my fuse tray will not give... Not an inch... Not 1/1000 of a millimeter! The right side is willing and able but the left side is anchoring it down. I tried to get under it with a c-clamp so I could pull it up from below... only to bend my c-clamp. I dunno wtf else to do. This situation seems ridiculous and even more so that I'm considering taking it to Nissan. I'm assuming it's something unique about mine (like maybe someone accessed it before I owned it and put it back incorrectly) and they're not all this difficult. *Shrug*
  12. Holy crap, I found video of someone accessing the panel finally (footage at the end). I guess I just have to pull harder but GD is it IN there! The video above gives you the idea but this video (see 0:57) actually shows how it works, and the tray being taken out (on a Titan, but similar panel/same procedure)
  13. I would appreciate it! I probably just need to pull harder on the tray. I just don't wanna damage the van or myself, esp if I'm not accessing them correctly. Im 99% sure I cannot get to that f3 fuse otherwise. I can't believe I can't find any info on the Internet. Most of the relevant/helpful results are from this glorious forum.
  14. Regarding this, how do you access that lil F3 bastard? Is it true you push in the tabs on each side of the fuse tray (labeled F2, not to be mistaken with fuse f2, on my 2015 NV3500 cargo) and pull upward? If so, I guess someone super glued mine... Sheesh! (Side note: just got the van in Sept 2023. I Just really started messing with it in the last couple months... I'm so amped! She will be a beautiful camper one day!)
  15. I just bought a used NV high roof (my second). One of the first things I had to do was take it to Discount Tire to get new tires. I had to show them the manual (I downloaded the pdf version of my year model's manual from the nissan site) to reset it, but they were able to do it by following the instructions in the manual. I've only done it once myself on my first NV and I got it on the second try following the manual's instructions. *shrug*
