I’m leaving because I am no longer a NV cargo owner! I traded it in today for a new 2022 Nissan Frontier. It’s been been great being on here although sometimes rarely. Thanks for all the tips here and hope I might have help someone too

So, 25 miles to pavement is hard on shocks/struts. My NV is a 2015 so the originals were pretty worn out. I ordered a set of loaded strut from ebay and they were pure trash. I then ordered a set of Monroe struts from rockauto but they were not the loaded SO. Out came my spring compressor and . . . it didn’t fit the larger diameter spring coils. No problem, I thought I’d just take them (original old loaded and new struts) to the tire shop and have them transfered so I could take them home to install. The “tech” informed me they would not fit. So, I called rockauto who said, “those are the number listed by Monroe for that van” Then, I called Monroe, they were extremely helpful and in a very understanding nice way, basically said the “tech” was blowing blueberries out his behind. SO, knowing a good machinist/mechanic, (my son), I had some custom spring compressors made and yeah, Monroe was 100% correct, the “tech” had a blueberry problem for certain. Yesterday, I just installed new Monroe rear shocks to complete the new struts/shocks change out and to make a long story short . . . NO MORE BOUNCY THE VAN.

I just replaced a battery (original) at 40k on my 2015. Tires have been replaced, (more my preference) and charcoal canister on Evap system and solenoid vlv in evap system replaced at 15k Stock stereo head unit replaced for bluetooth compatible, then that unit replaced again for Apple play compatible

I bought my two vehicles in August. This last one, the NV i got real cheap as it was a new 15 they still had in 2016. They are cheaper from august on. People say you can talk them down but they are pros and do that game every day and me, at the most once every few yrs. and nver come out on top with that.

I am wondering if they will still make the Titan HD with the gasoline V8. The Frontier has been unchanged since 2005 and the Frontier/Navarra (np300) for the rest of the world is beginning to be old now but we are still with the same old d40 Frontiers. Those suit me fine as I use them as a beat the tar out of them and go get a new one truck and dont want the smoother riding carlike trucks the other manufacterers are selling.

I would highly reccomend if you can find a selectable locker, (E locker, air locker) because of the ABLS system

Wow!! Thats crazy!!! Most of our snakes here stay on the ground and we’ve had a few in the house over the yrs but never in a vehicle.
