  1. It's been a while, are you going to un-tease us?
  2. There should be a 'catch' or 'detente' that keeps the door open at the end of its travel. There should be a 'release' that allows you to close the door. It's possible that there is some adjustment you might do to make this work again.
  3. Heh, I got all of those - except mpg. Drat!
  4. Wait, what? Your computer tells you mpg? I just went to look: nada. Where is that?
  5. I think I'll have some spam tomorrow for breakfast
  6. On both our Xterra and the NV3500, we got Nissan Rogue (combined key blank and remote) keys for about $10 each on eBay, and had the local Nissan service department program them. First time around, they said 'This is a first!' Second time, they just said, 'OK'. About $50 each as I recall.
  7. We got a couple of Nissan Rogue combined key/fobs on eBay and had our local Nissan service department cut/code them. I think that the keys were about $10 each and the cutting/coding was around $75 per.

  9. I'll second Prime Design, but in this case, for their rear door mounted ladder. No screw holes! Prime Design Rear Door Access Ladders
  10. I think this (goes to TruckFridge web site Indel TB51A) is the one referred to in the original post. We bought one of these, and are absolutely delighted with it. They're backordered right now, I see, but they do have the mounting plate. We got an insulated cover, as well.
  11. I've driven the Ford E350 passenger van and our own NV 3500 cargo. For me, there's no big difference at all. They are just vans. Big and lunky. Just take it easy.
  12. I think that Ruthie will have to change the headlights. Because the UK folks drive on the left, the headlights dip to the left. In France, where folks drive on the right, the headlights need to dip to the right. I think.
  13. *SMACK* <grin> For both our Xterra and NV, we bought Rogue combined keys and fobs to replace the separate ones supplied. Our local Nissan dealer readily programmed the new keys to work at not much $$$
  14. Yeah, Today, we were following a modified pickup with one of those 'Royal' type truck bodies and a bunch of secure keyed compartments, and a structure built out of bent square tube to hold ladders up, and almost no space left in the bed of the truck to carry anything, and I wondered........ Why didn't they just get a van and a roof rack?
  15. We just had a custom front receiver installed by our friends at San Diego Trailer Supply. It was a little pricey, but Dave always does good work, and this is no exception. It also leaves the hooks in place. Note that a chunk of the bumper has been cut, so that the receiver isn't as low down as it might otherwise have been. Hers's a view with the bike rack attached. Looks like the bikes won't get into the field of vision in any important way.
  16. Are you certain that the catalytic converter isn't covered under warranty? My mind meanders, trying to recollect when our '98 Honda Civic had a converter heatshield failure which was covered. If I recall correctly, it was about 7 years old at the time. Something something.... EPA mandated?

  18. It would be a shame if this web version 1 site disappeared. Simple and straightforward, and not following your every move. What do we have to do to keep it going?
  19. Ha! After a search for an image of the 'baby tooth', I realized that ours fell out a year ago, with no issues since. I guess that we'll get it fixed under warranty when we get back from our imminent trip. https://tenor.com/view/baby-tooth-nissan-nv-nv3500-gif-14168551
