  1. yeah and the NV drives the best... i have driven everytype of fullsize van GM, Ford, sprinters, (currently own an econoline also) and the nissan without a doubt drives the best... the V8 is plenty powerful, handles great, rides great and it is the most comfy out of them all. as for the reliability, not sure. time will tell.
  2. i got my NV as a left over brand new for 24k before tax and tag.. thought it was a great deal, was cheaper then the new comparable ford and GM vans
  3. did you put any airbags in the rear or anything in it?
  4. its a quigley conversion....they convert fullsize GM, ford, and now nissan vans into 4x4
  5. maunal seat. im taking it to the dealer soon, just wanted to see if there was a quick fix. checked around and everything is tight

    Drive Thru

depends on the drive through...some drive thru's dont have any height limits but most do. you have to look at it as a positive though, youll eat healthier if you cant go to fast food restaurants
  7. i see your in PA too, be careful when buying a sprinter. they have an extemely high maintnece cost, not to mention they have severe rust issues. an sprinter that is 5+ years old will have signifigant amounts of rust on the body and frame. Also, the diesel fuel is more expensive, and the oil change for a diesel is more expensive. would stay away from them. IMO
  8. i would not want to mount anything to the roof of a high top... they are already top heavy enough i cant imagine adding more weight to the roof.
  9. any time you lift a vehicle or get bigger tires it will severly impact MPG. at least that is true with pickup trucks. I lifted my silverado 3 inches and lost about 3 MPG
  10. dont know if this is the right category for this but recently I have notice my steering wheel groaning/ almost a very faint grinding noise when i turn the wheel moving or parked.. its always there anyone have this issue? only 4000 miles on van
  11. recently I have noticed that my drivers seat slides about a quarter inch when i brake hard and goes back when i accerate. if i hold on to the steering wheel and slide back and forth the seat moves with me...... anyone have this issue? fixes? my NV only has 4,000 miles on it
  12. i have a V8 3500 that is constantly loaded with 1500-2000lbs and i towed a 1200lb trailer and i noticed it sagging a little. i would definatley reccomend airbags or adding more leafs for that size load
  13. where do you get the quigley upfit? im seeing about 12mpg highway... im always loaded wiht about 1500-2000 lbs though and have a ladder rack with 2 ladders
  14. are you going with the V6? do you have any idea what the MPG will be? i couldnt decide between the 6 and 8 but i went with the 8 since i constantly loaded down
  15. i have yet to find a switch to turn the lights on and off... you can turn them on and off individually but thats a pain. I use my van for work and i just let the lights go out on their own automaticly
  16. 3500 low top v8.. im at a very hilly location... seeing about 11-13 when driving up and down hilly highway areas and 14-15 on flat highway
  17. i have an 3500 NV, and it is loaded down with 2k lbs constantly... ride is amazing compared to any other fullsize vans... i dont know what the difference is between the 2500 and the 3500 but i assume the 3500 has a few more leaf springs so the ride might be a little bit stiffer in the rear
  18. 37k?!?! i got my V8 3500 low top, (not loaded) for about 24k before tax tag
  19. got my v8 3500 for my buisness, my crew will be driving it about 800-1000 miles a week, constantly loaded with about 2k lbs of weight. we'll see how it holds up
