  1. Found it. If you pay shipping, I'll send it to you. :)
  2. No. Volume is not a problem. This system will go painfully loud. If the rear plastic is muffling the speakers, it's not noticeable.
  3. Sorry for the delayed reply. I will see if I still have the factory nav unit.
  4. I replaced the entire audio system in our 2013 NV 3500 (with Tech Package). Head Unit: Alpine double-din CDE-W265bt https://www.crutchfield.com/p_500W265BT/Alpine-CDE-W265BT.html This fits great in the default slot. We don't need navigation in the head-unit and I wanted a simple interface with push buttons instead of touch screens. I can't stand the delay in touch screen models. Steering wheel control assembly (same as required for Nissan Juke) works great! Rear View Monitor/Camera This did mean that we had to replace the back-up camera. We now have this installed: http://www.voxxelectronics.com/backup-monitors/?sku=RVM200 The corresponding camera is installed where the factor camera was installed Amplifier JL XD700-5v2 5-channel amp (75wx4, 300wx1) https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13698606/JL-Audio-XD700-5v2.html This baby fit under the passenger seat with room to spare Speakers (front) Hertz 165 2-way http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/car-audio-systems-energy-esk165_5/ Mounted in factory locations (speaker in door, tweeter in dash) Speakers (rear) Hertz 165 2-way Coaxial (same as front, but with tweeter integrated) http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/car-audio-coaxial-energy-ecx165_5/ Subwoofer JL Audio 10TW3-D4 shallow sub-woofer with enclosure http://www.jlaudio.com/cs110tg-tw3-car-audio-powerwedge-subwoofer-systems-93302 I opted for the shallow mount as I plan to put the subwoofer in the driver side rear door as soon as I have the time to make a mount for it. For now, it just sits behind the rear-most seat. Installation I had mine installed professionally as it was a Christmas present for my wife. The NV is her main ride and she loves to listen to music loud! Results | the good: The entire family loves it. There is zero comparison to the cheap system that came with the tech package. It gets plenty loud (concert loud if you want) without any distortion.Blue tooth audio streaming! Works great from both my wife's and my iPhones. Direct USB streaming works too.Steering wheel controls still work great. So happy about this.Audio quality for phone calls was good before, but now it's flawless. Results | the bad: The new rear-view camera doesn't seem to be quite as good as the factory one. Night vision is more grainy and the daytime can seem washed out. However, it is 100% usable and works just fine to see if something/someone is behind you. We mainly use our side mirrors, so the camera is really just to see if anything is directly behind.Aux port and USB port in dash is now useless. I plan to purchase a 12v USB charger and mount it in the same location. Should be a fairly painless hack job if I can find a 12v power line to steal from.
  5. Correct... the seats CANNOT be put in backwards without serious modification of the floor latches.
  6. Tonkin Nissan, Wilsonville, OR is good. AVOID Beaverton Nissan. Service department is terrible. I drive an extra 15 miles just to avoid them.
  7. I get weird bugs with the OEM tech package stereo. iPhone not being recognized sometimes, inability to pause a track (it will just unpause it for you within 3 seconds), and other issues related to using the USB port with iPhones. Anyone know who makes the head unit and if there is a way to upgrade the firmware on it (perhaps via the SD card or USB port)?
  8. This is a factory problem. I explain the issue and the solution here: http://nissannvforum.com/topic/248-sliding-door-issues-on-3500-passenger/ A pic of the solution is here: http://nissannvowner.com/discussion/3/sliding-door-issue-with-solution#Item_3
  9. Agreed. I was expecting a lot more flexibility with the seating configuration. There are some limitations for sure. That said, it is way more configurable than any other van. We use the "limo" configuration with the 1st and 2nd row in the rear most configuration. The single seat was removed from the front row to allow lots of room to get into the van from the side door. The single seat on the second row is set in the forward position (since there is no seat in front of it - leg room is no problem). The 3rd row has only the passenger side seats in. The driver side is left out to allow for cargo. Works great!
  10. Wow, that's amazing! What do you do for a living?
  11. Hi Jenn - the sliding door issue should be an easy fix. I have some posts on these forums with the fix. I also posted here about it with a picture of the fix: http://nissannvowner.com/discussion/3/sliding-door-issue-with-solution#Item_1
  12. Have not used a stowaway before, but I am looking at getting a trailer. For our next camping trip, I plan to just rent a U-Haul 4x8 cargo trailer. At $14.95 per day, it's an easy decision.
  13. I just tried to get the front seat to go in backwards. The seat hooks and floor latches line up perfectly, but the front seat hook is too wide to fit down into the latch hole. The front floor latch is wider than the latch just behind it (thus preventing you from putting the seat in this way). Kind of a bummer, but not end of the world. While I had the seats out I went ahead and reconfigured them into limo style with more leg room on row 1 and 2.
  14. I am confident you are having the same issue I had. It is EASILY solved. Open the door. On the door itself, there is a electrical connector that connects to a connector on the vehicle when the door closes. The problem is that the connector isn't making a solid connection when the door closes. To fix: On the door, unscrew the connector. Put a shim behind it (maybe a 1/8" will do it), seal it with silicon, and screw it back in. This will allow it to make good contact. We haven't had a single issue since this was done. For the record, the dealer gave up and sent it to a body shop that figured it out and solved it almost immediately. Once I saw the fix, I was bummed I didn't think of it. So much time would have been saved!
  15. MicroGard 3696 is the correct part # at O'Reilly (or anywhere that sells MicroGard). It's the same one that goes in the Nissan GT-R.
