Mine still does this even with a third party (JVC) head unit. Seems worse in the rain. Very irritating.

OK I got the mirror 'installed' over the weekend. I say 'installed' because it didn't really go according to plan. For starters, the clips on this thing don't fit over the visor. I took them out and tried using zip ties to wrap it around the little business card holders. The spacing didn't match up so I had to get a little more creative. I ran a zip tie through the back of the mirror long-ways and then ran one through the clip on the visor. It's up there, and it looks OK, but it is a little loose, so it takes 2 hands to open it. No problems with the visor closing with this mirror on there. I also shaved a little bit off the little clip that holds it closed. It was way too tight. The one I bought was the Bell 22-1-00449-8 Large Lighted Visor Mirror. Here's what it looks like now.

Mine does this too. Will report it during the first oil change. Hope it's just a bad sensor. I am getting a new head unit installed this week so that will tell me if it was the nav unit that was causing it.

What are you guys using for floor mats? I have had the fitted Weathertechs in my last few vehicles. Expensive, but very effective. Unfortunately they don't make them for the NV.

I found some on Amazon, pretty crappy reviews. I bought one anyway. I'll give it a try and report back.

Every vehicle I've ever owned has had visor mirrors. Not the nv. It's crazy, my wife wants this remedied. Has anyone found any aftermarket lighted visor mirrors that work well?

Have any of you had running boards/steps installed on your NV3500's? What do they look like and how much did it cost to have them installed? I'm looking at some of the color matched running boards from Ronusa.com. The dealer is getting pricing for me but I want to santiy-check their numbers.

I am baffled by the fact that Nissan doesn't offer a factory rear-seat entertainment option. Yeah, I get it, this is a commercial vehicle, and yeah, I get it that $2k or whatever buys my kids a lot of tablets and apps. There are a lot of big families buying these things, upgrading from Quests or Siennas, who are accustomed to having that rear seat babysitter - myself included. There is a guy in the photo gallery with a pretty awesome setup with four ceiling-mounted screens and an ipad controlling it all, but I can't find anyone locally willing to tackle this kind of install. I guess what I'm looking for is some success stories - head unit replacement, ceiling mounted units, head rest units - surely there are some other clean looking and functional installs out there?
