  1. So I posted this in the older post but wanted to move to the appropriate forum based off of year. Update on my current situation: So, Friday morning I spoke with my Nissan dealership and I was told “it should be put back together later today, if not first thing tomorrow morning” The service rep then informed me that he would call me and let me know later today where we’re at. I did not hear from them later on Friday, nor did I hear from them on Saturday. I called this morning and of course can never get ahold of anyone. My wife stopped in there a d talked to the service manager who has not been helpful in this whole situation. The issue is that the dealership was unable to provide us with a loaner vehicle that could suit my wife and 5 children. So for the past month, we have been inconveniencing family in order to get a vehicle to transport our family. It has created tensions as my wife and I feel like we are burdening our family. Also, when the dealership tells us it will be back together today or tomorrow, our family is expecting to get their vehicle back. We have been told our vehicle should be done by this day on 3 or 4 different occasions now. I feel like customer service has been the least of their concern. I have a case open with consumer affairs but feel like that has gotten me nowhere. How to I get ahold of a regional manager or someone I can escalate this too. A lot of this hassle and the stressors could have been avoided had they provided us with a vehicle.
  2. Have had it a few weeks, it's the sv with the dohc 4.0. Put 1400 miles on it so far and so far it has exceeded expectations.. happy to be here.
  3. Hello, everyone. Picked up a 2017 NVP SL today. The whole family is ecstatic. Since they all love it, it is easier to let our previous rig, a 2011 QX56 go. I have been reading up a couple of stuff on this site for the past week since I started seriously thinking of selling the Q and getting a van. Thank you all for your posts.
  4. Hey all, I currently have a 2015 NV SL. We've had it for 2 years and it works pretty good for towing our 7,000# travel trailer. Our current NV has a hard time with transmission shifts when towing the TT. At 65 mph or so (going up hills), the tranny will frequently shift to 3rd gear and hold it there much longer than it needs to. I sometimes have to go to manual mode to get it to shift back to 4th. I see that the new '17 model has a bit more HP and a new 7 speed tranny. How much better will the new NV tow compared to my '15? Is it worth the major $$$$$ to upgrade?
  5. Hi All, I'm new to the forum, so hopefully this hasn't already been covered by someone else. Does anyone know when Nissan will be making the announcements regarding any changes to the 2017 Nissan NV Passenger? Last year they published the following news report on August 18, 2015. http://nissannews.com/en-US/nissan/usa/releases/the-2016-nissan-lineup-charting-the-changes I'm curious if the new announcements for 2017 models will come out again at that time. My wife and I have six children and maxed to the brim of our Honda Odyssey. We are interested in getting an NV Passenger but aren't sure if we should get the 2016 model or wait to see what changes will be made to the 2017 model. Living in Utah, we are particularly interested in knowing if 4x4 will be an option for next year's model. Thanks, Stephen
