Rahvin2j3 Posted August 13, 2018 Hi Guys, Has anyone installed a swivel seat from this - http://www.swivelsrus.com/nissan_swivels.php?If you did, got some questions: - How high will the seats be after?- Will this destroy the warranty of the vehicle? Thanks!
mahu Posted August 13, 2018 2-2.5 inches higher.Got it last year.Works well, quality manufacturing.Shouldnt void anything. All you have to do is disconnect and then reconnect the side airbag once. Easy 1h install. 4 radin2son, ASD Dad, Rahvin2j3 and 1 other reacted to this
mahu Posted August 13, 2018 And yes you have to pay by check...kinda a weird outlet but they are legit as far as I can tell. Ours arrived within a week of payment. 2 radin2son and Rahvin2j3 reacted to this
cojo Posted December 12, 2018 Ordered a swivel seat mount from swivelsrus and it is scheduled to be delivered today. Excited to do the install. One question though, is all the necessary hardware included or is that something I need to purchase separately? thanks
cojo Posted December 13, 2018 Never mind my previous question. Hardware was supplied with the swivel. Got it installed tonight without too much difficulty. Was not convinced that the 4 bolts provided for mounting the seat to the swivel top plate was adequate and added a couple more. The swivel is well made and there are no discernible signs of play or rocking of the seat. It is kind of fiddly to turn the seat around - need to slide seat forward (but not too far forward) and open door a bit, but I can't fault the swivel for that. evac05 Posted December 22, 2018 I installed a swivelsrus swivel on my passenger seat this week too. Easy install, but I found that the seat adjuster that slides the seat fore and aft would not worked with the swivel attached, unless I modified it. Basically, I cut two vertical slots in the front face of the bracket, allowing the bar that you lift up to fully engage the seat adjuster mechanism. Works great now. Solid mount, I had to unclimbed an airbag connector and another connector... and then unclip where those two leads were attached to the seat frame in order to get enough slack to use the swivel. Sticker on the swivel read “Chassis Transportation Accessories, precision European craftsmanship distributed by swivelsrus.”
Randucci Posted January 2, 2019 Those of you that have installed the swivel adapter, did you have to remove the center console (and leave it out) for them to work?.
evac05 Posted January 5, 2019 The seat will not swivel with a center console in place. Even with it gone you have to open the door 6 inches or so to swivel.
GoNV Posted January 18, 2019 Does anyone know where I can find a used one? They're sold out until March 1st.
