Heated Mirriors

I have power mirriors and want to install power heated mirrors. Does anybody know if there is power for the heat option already at the mirror plug? I have rear windows with the defroster, I'm hoping the switch will also do the mirrors.

The pins are at the plug and the rear defroster will activate the heated mirror.

I took a mirror off and the plug in the door did not have the pins for heated mirror option. What exactly does prewired mean?

The heated version has 5-6 pins at the door plug.

 

What model NV do you have?

 

When I installed the heated tow mirrors my SV had the correct connector with 5 or 6 pins. I believe the standard non heated have 3 pins.

I spent all day on this I really really need some help, I have a 2012 Nv2500 non tow package with power mirror's I have Blue Red Pink in my connector that goes to the mirror, but I am missing wires to get the heated featured,  I have no problem running them directly not in the plug since I am using aftermarket heaters can anyone help me with what wires I am tapping?

I replaced my mirrors on my S that did not come with defrosters. The mirrors plug in and work fine EXCEPT the defrost does not work. I could have wired a hot line and seperate switch but i was more interested in the extending mount for trailer towing
