  1. I spent all day on this I really really need some help, I have a 2012 Nv2500 non tow package with power mirror's I have Blue Red Pink in my connector that goes to the mirror, but I am missing wires to get the heated featured, I have no problem running them directly not in the plug since I am using aftermarket heaters can anyone help me with what wires I am tapping? Let's stay positive and on message saying it can't be done won't help lol
  2. did you at least give the chicken a quality final resting place?? soup maybe? ;)
  3. Did you end up laying the bed liner on the roof? I am thinking of the same thing for my rig, I agree that vinyl is a good option also but bed liner is the toughest option. Parking on street at times the options you didn't think had low branches do and that's a bit hard to have to deal with but bed liner would take all the drama out of it in my mind. There are some stylish options out there it doesn't have to look bad
  4. anyone have the plug part numbers ?
  5. FRIENDS!!!!! Sorry, I have been a bad poster I failed to click follow on this post, so I didn't even see your post's till now. What I have found since posting is it seems there are only a very limited number of other factory wheels that will swap over to our rig's, Usual issue tends to be the center bore is slightly too small or wayyyyyyyy too small. If I got a set rims close to free, I would have them turned since it's a very very small amount that would need to be overcome. I know that last statement will be controversial with some folks about modifying wheel's, but I am a dare devil ;) kidding... I just am comfortable with the risk/reward. I like the standard aluminum wheels that are on big rig's, and dually truck's I am looking into seeing if A set of 4 factory / OEM front wheels from a Ford, Dodge or Chevy Might work. Would be cool to get something a bit more stylish and lighter the factory wheels I don't so much mind the looks of them when you add the factory chrome skin but the 17" tire size isn't OEM for really anyone else and made getting some low-dough second-hand snow tires last winter a challenge VS something in the 18", 20" I see tons of all day long. Is the 2012 GPS software Garmin or NAVTEQ? Anyone know if the Titan's share aftermarket parts? Titan weather tech floor mats or IN CHANNEL Vent shades? The OEM vent shades look great minus the button mounts on them, but I am a bit OCD about wanting things to look "Smoof." TITAN Headlights? Do they fit the NV? I really like the aftermarket Headlight options I am seeing for them. lol we are like the outcast Titan/ Armada Family member's .. you know the one everyone even Grandma avoid's at family event's ;) haha I clicked follow on this topic; I welcome New friends just let me know you're a fellow NV'er https://www.facebook.com/Fenderfatstrat
  6. If you paid him good money to do the job and you don't feel he did a good job take it back and tell him.. what's fair is fair.
  7. Thanks for reading Post about my Project and it's planning. I am not the type to enter anything that I can't complete. I knew exactly what I was getting into and while I dream larger than life! Generally, my heavy amount of research before hand doesn't yield anything but top notch results :) I spent 6 months researching probably 40hrs a week (late nights) every single option for what would best suit my needs- Fullsize, Reliable, Tall, Solidly Built rig that could house my big heavy motorcycle inside and still have a bit of room to move around and not duck down EVER!, that looked good ( I know some of you say the NV is ugly, but I love it) looks way better than anything else in the category and its not a cramped,HOT cab chevy box truck! :) KNOWLEDGE TRULY IS POWER, MY FRIENDS! :) But it does get exhausting looking for all this Info and Stuff.. I drove it home with squishy 40psi tires up front and 60 in the back and got about 15mpg babying it like crazy .....it was about 4hours up and down mountains half the way. I came home filled up the tires to 80 front and back, put MOBILE 1 full synthetic oil in 0w30, mobile 1 oil filter, AEM Dry OEM Drop in "Dry" lifetime air filter, said some nice things to it ....you know ( told it was pretty and that I would love it like the previous owners didn't) I did 100 miles highway and sat at 17.8-18mpg at 65-70MPH ( indicated) I think I am going in the right direction I still have some more thing's to Farkle to see if I can squeeze some more out of it. I am going to be the best MPG Tall top rig by time I am done with the exception of the high altitude guys :)
  8. what psi is going to give me the best mpg and no premature wear on say the stock tires?
  9. This is my first truck coming from all tiny cars I always set the psi at max cold psi when tires were cold of course for best MPG. the stock Tires rate max psi at 80 Psi there shouldn't be any adverse affects to this since they are within' the manufacturer's specs though right? :)
  10. Can you tell Us what kind of Dampener and insulation you used? :) Also did it do what you were looking for it to?
  11. SKRUGS! Thanks for that info i appreciate you making the effort :) I weighed My entire spare last night before i saw this post ( I am now following it) and it was 75lbs with a minty fresh full tread tire on it. I assume there is about as much if not more steel on the factory spare as the factory "stylized steel rim".
  12. Yeah the Fortin looks like our best bet from what i can tell. I maybe getting one if i can't find any other viable options
  13. I am looking for an exact weight on what the factory steel rims weigh it will help me decide on rim options since i am looking to shed weight (mainly) and gain some extra looks :) This weight can be the rim only or rim and factory tire I just want to have numbers that i can know are solid figures to work with. No point in upgrading if they weigh more.
