You can reset the light reminder on earlier models, I would assume you have to be able to do that as well on the 2017 in case you do your own oil changes or somebody besides Nissan does them. Maybe it was set weird at the factory or dealership on delivery. You can change the reminder interval mileage for oil change, filter and rotation with at least the 2015 models... I do not have a "oil monitor digital display". Are you sure that is not one of the temp gauges? I wasnt aware there was an oil life monitor. We do have several temp gauges we can cycle through.

rad - I cant add forums or make actual site modifications like that, only the site Admin can. You're more than welcome to contact them!

Welcome to the site! I really like that Blue color, it was originally my first choice of color.

I've seen the trucktrend one before. They are really pushing the limits of the XD with that camper. Truck campers belong on true 1 Ton trucks or bigger (F450 or similar). They are super heavy and unstable.

That is pretty sweet looking. -

Welcome to the site! Do you need the interior space/passenger room of the NV? Depending on that answer you can pick and choose trailers from there. -
Moved to correct FS forum. Welcome to the site!

These are great! Thanks for posting. I plan on pinning this to the top for future reference.

I use the View New Content tab on the main site and mobile and I can see a couple pages worth. Almost all are read but that is what I use to check any updates or new posts. I have it set to view the past month.

Zeiss makes amazing optics! I am jealous, I would have loved to check them out. Those solar flare shots are really cool. Was that through a telescope or monster zoom and a teleconverter? I still own two older Sony DSLR's that I like shooting with (A200 and A500) but I didnt have the right filters or very good glass for them to shoot an eclipse. I mainly shoot with two primes for my kids photos. I took a chance with my wife's SX50 and am super happy with the results.

That is amazing! Since my roof rack and AT tires I am happy to break 14 on the highway. I normally have the cruise set a little over 70. I still average around 12-13 in mixed so there isnt that much difference for me.

Panorama of eclipse photos I shot.

Welcome to the site! We have several camper conversions here that are done or being built.

Traffic here is backed up for over 40 miles on the main highways getting out of town. It is even worse south of us. Live news shots make it look like a parking lot as far as they can see. I have to run out later and I am not looking forward to it! Added a few more shots. All these were shot handheld with a simple Canon SX50 HS Superzoom at max zoom (1200 equivalent focal length!). For the sun photos I held cheap $1 eclipse glasses over the center of the lens. Crude but it worked! I have two older Sony DSLR's but I dont have the filters needed for those lenses so took a chance with my wife's camera and am super happy how they turned out.

A couple shots from my backyard.

Area around me is nuts. Gas stations ran out of gas over the weekend. News is telling locals to stay off roads. Thankfully I can watch it through totality in my backyard! Neighbor has 10 acres and his family friends are flying in soon on their private helicopter (they live up in VA). I think my kids are more excited to see that vs. the eclipse. They have 10 or so families coming over to watch. Had blue bird skies all morning but clouds have been slowly building as the heat rises. We have a lot of big puffy clouds now so hopefully we get a good view in a couple hours.

Beautiful photos, thanks for posting them! I've never been to CO in the summer, only winter.

Welcome to the site! What color NV did you get? I'd like to test drive a 2017 to compare with my 2015, I really want to see what the new motor and transmission are like.

gearing/speedometer differences 2500 to 3500 tire size
ASD Dad replied to SmokedChops's topic in Nissan NV 2500HD
A 3% increase equates to the speeds I showed - 60mph would now be 62. Most speedometers are not that accurate (3%) so in actual daily usage it will most likely be a wash. We Love our Blue Ox! I have had several WD hitches over the years and this one is by far the easiest, cleanest and quietest to use. It also just works without fussing with things too much. I would definitely buy another one and recommend them all the time when we are camping. -
Welcome to the site! Hope you stick around even if your console sells.

The Parts forum is a little wonky for me right now. Shows 7 threads but I cant access it for some reason... Forum is coming up blank. There are links to the for sale threads that were moved in their original places so no info was lost.

We now have a Classifieds section! I will be moving posts over to the appropriate forum.

Hello all - I was approved to be a site Mod here! As most of you know I am pretty active here and try and check in at least daily if not multiple times a day. Only time I am not around as much is when we are on vacation and away from internet. Hopefully this means I can zap those pesky spammers quickly! I am not sure if you report them if I receive that report or just the site Admin but since I am on the site I can see the spam as easily as anyone else. Things I CAN do (so far) - delete posts/topics, pin or sticky a post/topic, move posts/topics, etc. I can NOT do things like make a new forum or things like that, only Admin can do it. I was hoping for a Classifieds Section still and will ask again. I will Not be censoring or anything like that. All members are free to speak their opinions. NO personal attacks will be tolerated. NO spamming will be tolerated. You'll get a warning and your post will be gone unless you modify it. I made all this clear when I signed on to be a mod with the Admin of the site. That being said and out of the way: Give me some feedback if you have any on what you would like to see done (that I can do). I do not have a quick personal shot to the Admin, I have to go through the same channels you all do so I cant just whip something up. What I can do is look into cleaning things up by getting topics in the right place or pinning those that get searched or asked about all the time by new members. First one I thought of moving and pinning was the wheel/tire thread that is growing. A lot of great posts and topics are getting hidden. One recent one was all about Dynamat. It is in the wheel thread and will never be seen. There are many others but please let me know and I'll see what I can or cant do. I know this site is not big or super busy but hopefully I can organize it a bit better if possible and zap the spammers quicker. Please post your ideas here or you can PM if you want to keep things out of the public viewing.

Just curious, why did you go with a 0 offset rim when there could be issues vs. a different offset where no shimming was needed? They look great (saw the other post) but I did not know if you had another reason for going with that offset.
