  1. It's dark, kid doesn't care. She loves it. And all my homeboys and throw the seat in and we can go on road trips. Take the seats out and it's back to being the motovan. No side glass. That's why I wanted the cargo version. I like to not advertise what I have back there, which is usually an enduro bike with camping equipment when I'm road tripping. Quick disconnect seats were a must have. I have these seats in and out all the time. They take seconds to remove/install.
  2. It was my main gripe about getting the cargo version. I absolutely wanted the cargo version, no windows, but I had to have a seat for my kid and my friends. Well I finally did it. For $500 shipped I got a new bench seat out of a transit van. The bench seats from the transit have a quick disconnect feature. At least 2 people are needed to do it comfortably, 3 is great, 1 is possible but it won't be fun. I took the seats out today to get ready to load my bike in the van this week for a ride this weekend. We had the seat removed in 20-30 seconds. (The doubled up stainless steel washers behind the grade 8 washer in the pictures are larger than they look!) Getting started, got'er up on the ramps WITH JACK STANDS BELOW AND WHEEL CHOCKS IN!!!
  3. What rounda' bout's does it cost to get e-track welded in?
  4. I've got the cargo version. I'd really like to be able to put a washer and nut on the other side of those 8mm holes. I've just ordered some I-Bolts online for them (8mm 1.25 pitch). I want to know that my motorcycle is going to be secure!!! Axulsuv, I sent you a PM. Can you get show me pics of the underside, where/how you mounted your rear seats in your cargo van? I've got a set of 2015 ford transit seats that I need to install and no one will install them for me! I'm scared to do it alone!
  5. I want to be able to secure tie downs or tracks to the wall for securing a dirt bike. I've seen tracks installed before, but I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Obviously you wouldn't drill through the wall to the outside. So, my question is, how/where can I drill holes into the wall, and how the heck do I get a washer and nut onto the other side???
  6. I'd be very interested to learn more about that bed set up, I just purchased a 5inch twin bed that I'd like to be able to fold up
  7. Can you guys link me to anything NV specific for this? Is this easy to "do it yourself?" Will I need to do any drilling? (I hope not)
  8. Does anyone know of any wall tie downs I could install on an NV2500 cargo? I'm looking to tie my dirt bike down to the wall to give me more room for other things in the cargo area, aka a bed. I've seen things like this for other vans: http://www.discountramps.com/cargo-tracks/c/1470/ I have to wonder if this method would be secure enough if I was involved in a collision.
  9. aaannnnnnd it looks like I have a very slow power steering leak... Finding drops of fluid where I park my van. Underneath I see a tiny bead of what appears to be red fluid just hanging on to that power steering gearbox. (I'm assuming it's some sort of gearbox or actuator? Idk, I used to work on jets, not cars) Maybe I can snap a picture tomorrow.
  10. Thanks for the tips. Just gotta get these bad boys installed now. 2015 new Ford transit 2nd row bench seats, with the rails, shipped for $500.
  11. I did have an ounce of buyers remorse when I first bought it. It didn't handle like my car, turn on a dime like my car, and I knew if I accelerated like my car I would just be wasting gas. However, the more I drive it the more I love it. I just ordered some 2015 passenger transit van 2nd row seats and am having them installed by a commercial van upfitter in PA. I'll have to get over the gas mileage which is god awful... I'm stuck with it now either way! lol the gas mileage is awful, but I really enjoy driving this vehicle. I guess you've got to pay to play!
  12. I guess the black bumper is just standard this year and I happened to end up with a black van. Brand new, 320 miles NON STOP NOT EVEN FOR A BATHROOM BREAK, @ 65mph, -8 to 12 degrees Fahrenheit, 14.52mpg.... Yuck. Please don't let gas go back to $4 per gallon Please don't let gas go back to $4 per gallon Please don't let gas go back to $4 per gallon Please don't let gas go back to $4 per gallon Please don't let gas go back to $4 per gallon Please don't let gas go back to $4 per gallon
  13. Well I did it... I'm wondering why I'm second guessing myself, because everyone is telling me I shouldn't have/ I made a mistake, or because I'm not acclimated to driving a small bus instead of my car that can weave through traffic (I traded my car, this is it, this is my new daily). I hope I don't regret this. I do like it, I think!
  14. I haven't seen a topic specifically about non lifted vans. What is the biggest tire size you can fit on the stock wheel size without lifting the van and avoiding rubbing the frame? Minor rub isn't a big deal.
  15. Yea, I don't think I'll do it. I need that 6-hundo to put toward a bench seat in the back. I'm hoping axulsuv posts some more up on what he had to go through to get that thing installed!
