If you look closely, there is a Leatherman tool that I used...I forgot it up there and it stayed up there from Alabama all the way to California -

Total cost $15 for parts from hardware store and $100 for second hand 4 runner roofrack. -

Rigged a pipe using electrical pipe conductors (I think that's what it's called) to a 4 runner roofrack. The pipe served was a dual purpose...create space off the roof and secure temporary roofrack. -

At Aluminess HQ in California for the roof rack install. Great customer service. Saved $500 on shipping + $200 on third party install. $700 towards the road trip from Alabama to California. -

If you zoom in to the top right picture, you should see a thumb drive (bottom left). That's a 64 gb thumb drive with movies. I hooked my 2TB hard drive to it and it was able to play my videos. It is an android and can do majority of android stufffffssss. Kids love it. I only need two, but you can get all seats tablet-ized; however, it is pricey. They will just need to install a quick release at the bottom of the seats which you can tuck under the covers (if you ever remove your seats).-

The doors are open. I have dark tint; when I close the doors you can barely see the Red, Green and Blue. -

Bought two packs of 5 LED lights from Costco. Used some heavy duty 3M tape and had a field day. Hopefully it'll stick. It came with a remote so I can turn them all on/off from the front. Since I bought two packs, I have two remotes.-

I drove it until the estimate to empty dashed out. I assume it had 2 gallons left. So with a full tank and estimate at 384 miles to empty divided by 25 gallons gives me the estimated MPG. 384÷25= 15.36 MPG 450÷25= 18 MPG On a side note, I believe the specs say it has a 28 gallon tank. Not sure where the other 3 gallons go...

This is a long shot, as old as this photo is, but what kind of seats are those? It looks like they recline. -
ASD Dad, I calculate 16 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. I could be wrong. Either way, I average about 18 mpg overall. Driving from AL to CA this month, I'll try to document it more accurately.

Vent and floor caps fit a little tight but it fits. Seats going back in the van.
