Nice Van!! I’m slowing working up from jam everything in and go to more purposeful layout… my December trip will probably have some level of a very basic temporary build in the rear.

Over the past few years I have been renting all sorts of vans for adevntures with the kids and for cross country trips. A local dealership had a black 2017 NV3500 in their rental fleet; after logging almost 2500 miles in it - i was hooked. That led me on my shopping adventure. Any dealership that had a used van was charging 15-20k over book value. I found a 2017 and a 2020 selling at book... Pulled the trigger on a Red 2020 and love it!! It was a used trade in with 23k miles. I wasnt crazy about red, but i like it quite a bit now. I put bigger tires on it and have been using it for road trips / boondocking along the way. The van will remain usable in close to factory interior with the ability to sleep in it... [at least that the plan for now] Bumpers, roof rack and even a 4x4 conversion are down the road!! Glad to have found this forum!

So happy I found this forum for the NVs Does just putting bigger tires on count ? Picked up a 2020 NV3500, she has 24k miles and is bone stock. I painted factory wheels and kept the caps stock. When I paint the bumper, mirror and trim, I will paint the caps too... 5 new 285s on OEM wheels, full size OEM wheel on the spare. I intend to rotate the spare into the tire rotation schedule 287/70R17 on factory wheels. Zero clearance issues, no wider than OEM tires as far as the door is concerned. At full lock, I have atleast 1.5" before i need to trim the inner mud flap ... I think I could have fit 305s with no lift... maybe next time. Roof rack, sliders and bumper in the works...
