  1. Maybe an inexpensive MP3 player instead of Cds. You can store more content on a mp3 than a cd. It might be easier in the long run than fighting with the dealer on this.
  2. That is totally awesome! Now you need custom exterior paint. I have provided a link for some ideas. :) http://selvedgeyard.com/2009/11/22/ultimate-rock-n-roll-on-wheels-the-1970s-van-customization-craze/
  3. In case no one has seen the Promaster extended passenger seat here is a link to a picture. Yes, that is a great idea. http://pictures.dealer.com/m/mckaysfamilycdjcllc/1416/ef5edcfe286787d8091922e5baf878d0x.jpg

  6. Glad to heat the 4.0 is up to the task.
  7. My wife has a Toyota FJ and oil change intervals are 10,000 miles with synthetic 0w-20. Holy crap!
  8. This may not directly address your pricing questions but this is a really good read about the car salesman business. I found it a real eye opener.... http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f28/about-car-sale-business-87305/
  9. http://calcarcover.com/ has a lot of stuff for cleaning and shining. Seat covers. Car covers. http://www.griotsgarage.com/home.do?code=PPC04&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=1VN+Brand&utm_term=griot's more car care stuff here.
  10. Thanks for the link. I always enjoy seeing how people outfit vans for their personal use. Welcome to the site!
  11. Congrats! I bet the black looks really nice.
  12. My father-in-law drives an MPV van. I may have to break into his van and steal a couple seats and mounts! You have done something I've always wanted to do. That is throw a seat in a cargo van. The use of the Mazda seat mount is much simpler that lots of others mounts I've seen on the interwebz. Well done Honey. Did I really just say that......lol
  13. http://www.inlad.com/nissannv200compactcargovanfullwiremeshpartition.aspx If anyone is looking for a partition this might be a good candidate.
  14. With six children the van will be put to good use! :)
  15. Welcome! Don't forget some pics...... :shift:
  16. I found this video on youtube. He is installing a third man seat in a Ford van. Some of the installation ideas could possibly work on NV's. I thought it was a good watch.

I don't recognize the rear seat. What or where is it from? The ceiling looks nice. What material is that and how did you secure it to the roof? Nice work!
  18. Google vehicle speed limiter and you'll see some of the options available to you. Here's one of them from such a search......http://www.bannariinfotech.com/shield.htm
  19. Well, one option would be to look at a Ford E-series cargo van. I know they have an optional air bag off switch. I realize this is the wrong forum to say that..lol. You could bolt one of these between the front seats...http://www.discountvantruck.com/vanjumpseat/vancenterseat.htm and get him away from the bags.
  20. After consulting a 13 NV sales brochure, no air bag cut off switch is listed. The seat mounted side airbag, at least for 13, is optional as is the roof mounted airbag. I guess i would look for an NV without the optional bags and go from there.
  21. "The bottom of my shorts catches the knob & jerks it off." :worship: I seriously need to grow up!
  22. I can't speak about Coverking NV seat covers but the Ck saddle blanket seat covers I've purchased over the years for my Ford work trucks begin to pull apart at the seams after only a year. My Frontier is using a Ck seat cover from a Ranger and that one is staring to pull apart as well. Just my 2 cents... :)
  23. I've never minded the Nissan orange lights. Pontiac used to use red in the instrument panels years ago. That was kinda cool too. I've never heard about Titan guys changing the color. Interesting.
