Hello! We bought a 2016 NV 3500 recently and noticed that the sliding passenger door won’t stay open when the vehicle is parked on even a slight incline. I’ve tried looking around online to find a solution or even a parts manual but haven’t had much luck. Does anyone have any idea how I can remedy this?

Hello, really excited to join the NV family! We just bought a 2013 SL V8 with 110,000 miles on it for $20k. I know the mileage is high, but we had a limited budget, and finding this car used in Colorado is near impossible. And this one was 45 mins away from us, and is coming from a wonderful family, and from what we can tell, has been maintained super well. Since there is a wealth of wisdom in this group, I wanted to find out what are some things I should go get checked out with the age/mileage (outside of oil changes)? I've been reading Nissan's maintenance schedule as well, but hearing from experience is super helpful to make an informed decision on any items to fix moving forward. I'm not a very mechanically inclined person, but there is a shop in Denver called Colorado Fleetworks, that was recommended to me. The gentleman who owns it said that my 110k NV is "low miles" in his opinion ? And that if he was me, he would do a full service with them. He said they'd get it on the lift, check out the suspension, brakes, axles etc., as well as take care of oil change, change spark plugs, check fluids etc. He said it would approximately be $800. Does that sound like a good deal? Thanks!

Hey guys. Looking to sell my van. It’s been my wife’s daily driver and it is just a little too much for her to handle. It’s got the full titan 4x4 kit installed from the dealership on it, ladder, roof rack, and leveling kit. Let me know what you think! 25,000 miles on it as well. Asking 90k

I'm still moving funds around and counting the days till I get out to see the vehicle in person and test-drive it, but the conversations with the current owner are looking promising, and I'm getting more excited about upgrading from our 2014 Ford Expedition EL to a single-owner, 2016 NV3500 SL with Quigley conversion and 2" lift. Use case: family mover (5 kids), travel-trailer tower (2017 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite 230BHXL - 7000-ish GVWR), and occasional "stuff mover" (building materials etc - not on a regular basis though). Home base is in St Louis, MO. We usually make an annual trip (with the trailer) out to the PNW, and our Expedition has been faithfully making the trip ever since we purchased it in 2018. Hoping that the NVP will serve us just as well or better - and what I'm reading on these forums is very encouraging. ? I'm making this thread as a "note-to-self" to keep track of modifications/upgrades I'd like to make once I bring the van home. Please feel free to critique, suggest, or banter as you'd like. I'll update this OP as I check things off or add/update/remove items. Open to recommendations! Do something about the pitiful fuel capacity - we occasionally do trips that take us far afield from service stations, and it would be reassuring to have some additional fuel storage (like external fuel cans on the back, if such things exist?). Looking at buying a NVP3500 SL, also looking at a 4x4 package, any advice is welcomed. We are currently a family of 6 with possibility of more. Looking forward to reading on the forum and getting some great ideas for how to make mobilizing my family practical. Also does anyone have opinions of advanced 4x4 vs Quigley, I am much closer to advanced 4x4 but curious if there is a Quigley advantage? Thank you all! D

Thanks for all the help. I used the site quite a bit before purchasing our new passenger van with the Quigley 4x4 with a 2" lift. Since bringing it home we have added an electric step from Auto Cool and larger Toyo 265 tires. I couldn't be happier with the set up so far.
