  1. Vht night shades. Black out your own taillights. Works great just follow the directions.
  2. So, I got my headrest monitors, reaview cam upgrad, headlight bulb upgrad, hdmi port, and subwoofer all installed since my last post. everything work good.. not super impressed with the rearview cam or the headlight bulbs still, probably gonna wire up some additional lights that come on with the brights..
  3. Yes I dipped mirrors, bumper, silver door slide as well as lettering in the back. While it was still on the vehicle. Use painters tape and newspaper to mask off. On the emblems make a square about 15 inches and spray emblem and body completely then about 30 minutes later, peel the dip off the body and it will naturally break at the line of the emblems leaving you a crisp clean look.
  4. 20’s. Still look plenty tough. Better in my opinion.
  5. I have a 99 ram 318 and a v8 nvp. Dodge works pretty hard to tow a 5k kubota on trailer... the Nissan would pull the tractor, the dodge, and a van full of kids and gear and it would be a reasonably relaxing drive
  6. #10 socket and small screw driver is all you need to pull the panel off. These are pics showing how I used the stock speaker mounts to mount new pioneer 6.5 in the door.
  7. Took some pics while removing the door panel. Hope this helps someone...
  8. I just finished a decent sized install including a head unit that supports 2 exterior cameras. The stock rear view is laughable so I ordered aftermarket. The day time view is real decent but night view is worse than stock. Anyone swap out their camera and really happy with it? I think I'd like to try a different brand etc... thx
  9. Nothing under the hood. I could see doing the firewall sometime but that seems like it would be a major pain. If you really wanted "lexus" quiet you would pull all panels and carpet and the entire dash and cover every inch. However..... " ain't nobody got time for that"!! No pics at the moment, I'll pull a panel and snap a pic or two to give an idea.
  10. We drove 3hours and 45 min to a little town called st Claire mo. Took 7 hours to get home ( traffic). Thankfully. I just finished my rear entertainment install over the weekend and we kept the kids reasonably occupied the whole time.
  11. Wheels are 20x8 with 0 offset ( had to shim the door). Bridgestone discoverer A.T tires. Don't remember the size. Www.wheelpros.com is where I found the wheels then ordered them through my local shop. 3 washers in each of the lower brackets to get the door to open all the way with a very mild rub. No damage or marks so far. A 10 mm offset or 18 offset with fit easier. FYI. Take note to any aggressive tire that has knobbys that protrude out side of the tread line. Might cost you an extra couple millimeters and not fit. The nitto Tera grapplers 2 would be an example of this. 5 cans of black "plastidip" ( amazon or Lowes/homedepot). About 6-7$ each. 3 cans of plastic dip " glossifier clear) Same price. Watch videos at www.dipyourcar.com for instructions. It is durable and very forgiving. Later can be peeled.
