  1. Hi, I added a Fiamma awning and it works great. Look for my build under "Conversions" then "Laharview Farm Camper Build" for details, parts used, and measurements.
  2. Building her to replace a 2006 Ford Ranger stretch cab. Will need to look into where made. Great impression so far. Much more leg room, better ride, better turning radius, excellent seat (the Ford was like riding on a church pew). Lots of these running around the Puget Sound area. We also looked at the Ford Connect but the meter crew preferred the NV200. Ford was $2500 higher bid.
  3. Just have to add the antennas and Mini Me is ready to work.
  4. Added Thule roof racks to mount the LED light bars, Curd side slider window, and a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter with another battery. Also installed 3M 1080 wrap to the upper panels.
  5. Installed a Ram Computer mount, switches for the light bars, and a rear bumper protector.
  6. Finished off installing the Rattle Trap XXX, shelves, and visors. The visors were from Nissan with one small issue. They fit great however you must have internet and printer access to download the installation instructions. Now waiting on the FedEx guy for more parts.
  7. Did you use the C R Lawrence windows?
  8. Here is my latest project along side my 2015 2500 SV Camper conversion. Bought a 2017 NV200 SV with every possible option for the water utility I operate. Going to up fit her to read our water meters (two frequencies) service calls and meter maintenance. Adding a curb side slider window, roof racks, two VHF radios, Adrian racks, Pure Sine Wave Inverter and additional battery, light bars, Ram computer mount, a bit of 3M 1080 wrap, Rattle Trap Extreme, Visors, interior LED's, seat covers, and anything else will fit on the company charge card. More photos to follow.
  9. Just Bought a 2017 after a lot of research to use at the water utility I operate. Adding windows, shelves, light bars, etc Going to use it for drive by radio reading and meter maintenance. Will stare a build in the NV200 side.
  10. The Water Company I operate just bought a 2017 NV 200 (at my recommendation) to use as a Radio Meter Reading and Meter Maintenance Van. It replaces a 2003 Ford Ranger. Below is it next to my camperized 2015 NV 2500 SV HD.
  11. Here is last weekends project. Modified a boat trailer to haul either both of our DR350"s or the Kayak. The trailer empty weighs 250 pounds so it is easy to move and stow at a camp site.
  12. Welcome! Tail winds also help a bit...
  13. Built a Cooler Cart for ease of moving the cooler out from under the bed platform. Just lift the handle a inch and the wheels make contact with the floor and she rolls easy.
  14. Awing works great. Mine is side mounted however there are lots of mounts available that would work with your rack. The Fiamma USA site doesn't list many mounts so you have to go to the European site at fiammastore.com. Very detailed drawings. I found that the US dealer has all these mounts but not listed on their web site. Have to call to order. What make/model is your front bumper light mount? And which Pro Comp light bar did you use? Thanks, Mike
  15. Have to agree with Andy George. Easy to DIY. Best Regards, Mike
  16. Have to agree with Heavy Metal Doctor. Had the Commercial Dealer do the first free one and was not impressed with the 1.5 hour wait or the generic mystery oil. Oil changes are easy in these trucks and our local Schuck's takes the waste oil for free. 43 years of driving and always done my own service using the good stuff. I have some of "free" oil changes left and will not use them... I do not mean to slam the service gang, they were nice and are just doing what corporate tells them. Best Regards, Mike
  17. Welcome. Nice rig! I like the front bar and LED's and must copy this. What brands? And would you change anything with the bar? Best Regards, Mike
  18. Hi Breeze, I have made the same run a over the Cascades few times with and without the Bike and fuel consumption was the same. I prefer the simplicity of this type of mount and ease of removal so I can haul the heavy stuff! Best Regards, Mike
  19. Hi Breeze, I use a trailer hitch rack. Beefed it up a bit and it works well. The photo was taken before added windows and wrap. Best Regards, Mike
  20. Welcome, As for the window I installed one made by C.R. Laurence (can buy on-line). Fit perfect and a simple install. Check out my build under "Laharview Farm Camper" for step by step photos. I also installed the vented one on the drivers side. Then I installed black 3M 1080 Vinyl wrap to the panels behind the windows to improve the look. Best Regards, Mike
  21. Anodized aluminium strips used for floor transitions cover the seams.
  22. I also used vinyl plank on the walls and ceilings. Held on with #8 x 1" SS screws. Conforms well.
  23. Yes. I did not wrap the rear arch. Wanted access to run additional wires, etc.
  24. Received the Skeeter Beater #PNL77 (65"W x 77"H) for the back doors last week. It fits nice without any mods and installs inboard enough so the doors will close. Got the black one so doesn't show up in a photo.
