Ended up going 20 miles north of Weiser to DNR camp. $3.00 a night. The CEO of Carl Zeiss Optics was camped next to us. Made the trip from Germany. Got to play with very cool stuff he brought. He is going to send me all his shots and video! Here are the solar flares.

Nice! -
Four month report. Van is working out great. The crew has a sign up list to see who gets it instead of one of the Chevy 2500 4x4's.

Family photo. The NV200 we use to read water meters, mine is the high top, and one of my field techs just bought a 2016 NV2500 low top to convert.

Welcome. The high tops rule the Puget Sound area.

I modified a Boat trailer to haul our two place Kayak or both DR 350's. Went to Banks Lake last weekend and it did the job.

Awning has worked out great. It may seem a bit pricey up front but I think it is high quality and have used our almost every outing.

Mother nature refuses to stop the rain in the Puget Sound area so I added a rain guard to my Fiamma Awning to stop the drips at the sliding door. I used the Fiamma Rain Guard Seal 9mm and installed it in the groove in the awning body. Then I topped it off with an aluminum strip attached to the mounting points on the roof. This part does not show up on the FiammaUSA site but they have it in stock. Give them a call, nice folks

I agree, 22 turns is the sweet spot for the V-8. Plenty left over if you have to lean on her a bit.
-
Nice. Could you post the parts with part numbers you used? Thanks, Mike

Hi radin2son, I do not let the tank get down below 1/4 or 100+ miles left so have not seen the low fuel light. Try to start off easy and keep her around 2200 RPM. Heading to Banks Lake next weekend.

Will take a mess of photos and post one. We are staying at the golf course driving range and I here there still are sites at the school. NASA will be onsite.

Just back from 2 weeks thru eastern Oregon, Nevada, South Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and return on back roads thru eastern Cali, mid Oregon, with a short hop on I-5. All fill ups were just above 400 miles with 434 the best. 2015 2500HD SV high top with the V-8. Not much head wind. Very pleased.

You are welcome! Double check the shim thickness with a good straight edge, the body can vary a bit.
